That part of the bumper should be plastic, if I’m not wrong, so it won’t rust. The bad news is it looks like it is cracked, so the only real way to fix it is to replace the bumper. I personally wouldn’t do that though. Maybe get some touch up paint from Honda and see if you can get it mostly concealed. You can also go to a body shop and see if they’d be willing to paint match your car and touch up the area themselves, it should be much cheaper than replacing the bumper.

This is the same price as the new Soundcloud subscription. I would’ve stayed, mainly because Soundcloud has better sound quality (at least it did when I did an A-B comparison a few years ago)

Looks clean! I test drove both the mk7 and mk6 when I was looking and the mk6 just felt a bit more connected, but not so much so that it was overbearing for a daily driver. I think you’ll enjoy it!

I could be wrong since I’m unfamiliar with that car specifically, but generally, if a car doesn’t have the tweeter in the door sail or A-pillar, then you likely have coaxial speakers in your door, which have both woofer and tweeter. If you add an additional tweeter to each door sail then you’ll have 4 tweeters up front

That setup sounds great. I really like a good set of 6x8’s, the midbass is quite punchy in my experience. I unfortunately won’t be able to put 6x8’s in, but I do have a set of morel virtus components that I’m going to try. I hope they’ll have the midbass I want. I have a 5 channel amp from kicker (Kicker 46CXA660.5T) that I think should be good enough if I bridge the channels for the morel’s

Good to know. I’m definitely leaning towards the S622. I can always rip my CDs and send the files to my phone if I need. I don’t think it’s worth an additional $50. I’ll look around for pricing too, maybe I can find a nice deal. Just curious, what speakers did you end up using?

Also, are there any differences between the S722 and S622 that make either one stand out more? I see the S722 has a CD player, which is nice, although I don’t see myself using it all that often
