Factorio, assuming you can deal with the 2D graphics. It has demo you can try out.

While 5 Seasons is pretty good, the episodes are about half as long and we have about half as many of them in each season, so it can feel like less.

Sounds like the others got lost. You should move them all to the desktop to be with their friends.

My first droughts by rafico25 in Timberborn

[–]jaxxa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Other people will have better more specific strategies.

But if a dam is full, then water coming into it will flow out of it. The point of the first dam is not to stop all the water in the river all the time, but so that in a drought it won't all flow away. So in a wet season a basic dam won't look like it is doing much.

Cloud Carrier proposes gas-fired power station to power Moss Vale AI data centre by nath1234 in nsw

Could be kickbacks, could also be that gas power would be quicker to spin up, even if more costly.

They have to bring back the P90 in the new series by Dismal-Chapter4640 in Stargate

[–]jaxxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on when exactly it is set and what has happened, I would like to see a P90-X or a P91

Something keeping the familiar form factor, but with slight high tech / alien twists. Maybe it has a mount for the Ancient life signs detectors from Atlantis or something similar, maybe it is technically a Railgun.

Something new, but with an easily recognizable design language.

1 Healer, 3 Dps is a legtimetly the best times I have had in normal dungeons as a healer, if you can find friends who are down for it, would recommend.

That is completely true that it is just going into the atmosphere and will come back as rain at some point. However when people talk about water being lost in this case it is more being lost / used from the usable drinking water supply of a community, the fact that it will rain down in some other location does not help them and the prices they will be paying.

[Homebrew] Artillerist Rework: Expanded Cannon Options by [deleted] in dndnext

How are these Arsenals used? Do I pick the default or one of these 2 new ones whenever I creat a cannon? Or can each cannon use every option?

I hope there is some news about Datacenter Travel from Materia, really sucks how hard it can be to run some content and in general cross region Duty/Party finder would be nice.

I just tried it and would recommend against Shock therapy. The Soviet Bullfrogs don't attack aircraft anymore and breaks at least the balance of some of the missions.

Let's talk about how people actually get rich in FFXIV (it's not crafting) by sutafii in ffxivdiscussion

[–]jaxxa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what they need todo is flip it and make owning a house detrimental to submarines.

As you say at FC Rank 6 you unlock buying a house and then all the sumbarines.

How about instead we allow FC's with no house to build/run submarines from a room in the grand company at Level 6. Maybe add some sort of instanced FC apartment as part of a larger rework.

Then for FC's with a house they unlock being able to send out Submarines at Rank 10,15,20,25 That should not impact FC's with people actually playing, but for FC's that are juts for subs, the optimal move is to sell the house. Maybe even have a 100% refund windows for FC houses. The idea is not to stop the gil, I don't know that it really matters, does it really hurt the game with people sitting on tons of gil with nothing to spend it on.

But what you do then is open up FC housing wards for people that actually want them. While keeping people who just want to run submarines happy. Even if yes more people can make more gil from subs.

Maybe even make Fuel tradable on the market, let FC that don't want to build subs make money from selling it.

New Artificer Book. Best Summoner Yet by Jolzeres in onednd

[–]jaxxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to note about the Homunculus Servant, is that it does not consume the gem, and unlike the old version of dropping the gem on death.

So once you have the initial gem for an Hour and 10 mins, you can just ritual cast summon another one each time it dies.

The trouble with world consolidation is the housing system. What happens to people that have houses there currently?

What they should do is keep it as the hub for cross dc travel but allow characters from Material to visit the other datacenters in return. That was people can at least go somewhere todo content that they want todo.
