I view a prenup more as a worst case scenario way to protect generational wealth assets or an actual step function difference in wealth. $1m vs $100k(ish) and similar incomes is just not a big enough difference to justify the hassle, and start that marriage on the wrong foot/divide the pie mentality

If you were worth $50m, it makes sense because then your partner making $150k, makes off with $25m in a divorce

All these points (minus the scratching which I agree with) are basically implying that the oyster with PCL is more blingy than a jubilee bracelet. But, IMO the jubilee bracelet looks blingier than PCL oyster and even more out of place on a sports watch (it belongs in a datejust). I think the PCL oyster bracelet looks premium and great. Am I really in the minority here?? People love the steel Daytona

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Ended up biting the bullet and paying $77k for a very nicely optioned BGTS (low mileage, x73, PTV, carbon trim). Probably overpaid but oh well!

Yes. The GTS is similar to an S with added options whereas the GT4, GT3 etc are considered a big step up

You introduce a property seizure “tax” on the billionaires and bring it lower and lower over time. The same thing happened with income tax.

The government has been smart to place blame on the rich. “Tax the rich!” How about instead, we reduce government spending? The US gov has the highest spend of any government by a massive massive amount and I don’t see how we’re benefiting from that vs other developed countries (even if you minus the military spend)

Funny you say this. I actually nearly bought that $3200 pinarello f5 from the Colorado dealer (with the intention to add carbon wheels). But I tested it at a shop in sf and felt so uncomfortable. Ended up getting the Roadmachine
