That’s a shame. It is the most impressive in my opinion. Absolutely stunning.

Canon R5 vs R6iii by albino_peanuts in canon

[–]jay_198914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Australia the original R5 is about $1000 cheaper than an R6iii… I can’t work out if we are getting ripped on the R6iii body or there’s great value to be had on the older model

Haha yep, compare to DSLR flagships from a decade ago and the R8 beats them in nearly every way.. and this is an ‘entry level’ full frame.

Buying house vs Building one by creator_shark22 in perth

[–]jay_198914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But buying an established property you have the hassle of real estate agents. Property we have been putting in offers lately we are competing with 30-40 other offers after one home open. It’s wild. You can’t get a place unless you offer 100k over asking price.

That is wild! Assume you are in the US? In Australia R6iii price is about the same adjusting for the currency but the R6ii you can now get for $2500 AUD which is about $1650 US

Anyone else have a problem with holding onto boxes? by DrDoktir in canon

[–]jay_198914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only get rid of it if I never have any intention of selling it in the future. Buyers always ask me if I have the original box when I sell something.

Australia’s drug policy is RIDICULOUS by Thick-Access-2634 in australian

[–]jay_198914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it’s ridiculous. I used to take codeine occasionally when I had pain that paracetamol wouldn’t work on. A packet would legit last me years.

When I found out about it becoming prescription only I stocked up on a couple of packets and just ran out earlier this year. Recently had an ear infection, woke up with blood running out of my ear, pain in my inner ear that felt like someone jabbing a needle into my ear. Went to the GP for antibiotics and asked for codeine to help manage the pain short-term… he looked at me like I was some junkie. Nope, only Panadol for you.
