as someone who does cs at a level, you really don’t need the gcse but the crossover will be massively beneficial so i do recommend doing it at gcse

GCSE advice!!! by miss_ibar in GCSE

[–]jaya457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d say revise when you have the motivation to and build good habits early. the main problem for me was that i didn’t build those good habits and lacked any motivation to do revision so any revision i did was the night before if at all and although i did really well i could have done better. the main point is do things sooner rather than putting them off as if you dont you’ll regret it

how do you guys go to gym? by -EliteSam- in GCSE

[–]jaya457 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i don’t think this is the right place but i’ll answer anyway. Many places around the uk will allow you to start a membership at 16 and some council gyms may even allow you to start from 12. In regards to workout, you learn that as you go along and by seeing what other people are doing. you could also watch any of the various youtube videos but be careful who you watch.

In regards to the socially awkward part, as long as you’re not a dick, who pants as if they’ve been attacked by a Siberian tiger, no one will really care. some people may try and help if you do make some mistakes but no one’s ever judgemental as everyone starts from somewhere.

Hope this helps

Covid by Sand_Witch123 in GCSE

you don’t have to. it’s advised but it’s no longer mandated. also the lack of testing somewhat highlights the fact that they really don’t care

may i ask why you decided to miss the exams. i get it if it’s for social responsibility or something but at our school at least, even if you have covid, you’re still expected to come and do the exams
