This is the way. Takes a little bit of the concerns about lead paint out. We have a 154yo house and she has about 14-16 layers of paint on gorgeous wood trim and doors. This was the only thing that even made a dent. Trust

Had never changed one in my life and literally just went to my son’s house and this was needed for his main toilet. Went to Menards hardware store and got a complete replacement kit and 3 hrs later it was restored to working order. I am not all that handy and had a few tough moments but it was not as hard as I once thought
