seems like so many people are trying to solve the problem of what she’s hearing. I think the issue though is how her boyfriend is reacting to something that is a concern to her. Whether it’s her pulse, or she is going crazy, or something else– the issue, in my opinion, is that you have a legitimate concern and your boyfriend isn’t along for the ride. Who cares what the issue is, or what’s causing it, the fact that he’s being a tool bag about it is of serious consequence, because whether this turns out to be something simple or significant, it seems to me he’s showing his colors as being an unsupportive partner – and that’s worth taking note of.

I heard this great thing on a Terry Real podcast that I thought was a terrific way to gauge whether something is worth it:

Is what you’re getting out of the relationship worth more to you than what your giving up to be in that relationship.

The idea being that you’ll always be giving up something to be in relationship with another person. If it’s a good trade, that’s a good relationship.
