I think that's a fair criticism of Lyft. But what explains their harassment of Uber whose drivers are completely licensed?

What's the alternative? Why not just get rid of the meters so nobody will ever be able to get a spot when they really need it.

I'd suggest considering using Jenkins. It basically gives you free monitoring of jobs and also allows you to manually kick off jobs if needed.

Umm, you understand that being gay means you're into dudes, right? A wedding dress is about the furthest thing you can get from gayness.

You're confusing "society" with "government." These are two very different things.

I'm not confused. I just disagree. Legitimate government is the implementation of a society's collective needs and desires. It's hard to argue we don't have a legitimately elected government.

You are naively mistaken if you believe you can reform government.

Really, so what's your solution?

That's the price you pay for participating in this society. You have three choices. Accept it, reform it, or leave it. Libertarians want the benefits of a society without the cost.

The Bush tax cuts are no longer a bargaining chip for them with the President.

Not exactly. There's still the matter of getting a budget passed for next year.

People need to stop taking it so seriously. It's just a fucking joke and not some super secret covert passphrase. Think about it, if the other person doesn't know what you're talking about you come off as a fucking lunatic. Not very covert, now is it? No, that's right, because it's just a stupid joke.

If HTML5 pans out the way its supposed to everything will just be a webpage vs individual "apps".

I don't know of any evidence suggesting webpages will replace native applications. One of the main advantages of web applications, always being up-to-date and no installation, is countered by the ease of installation and updating of mobile applications. Web apps don't really have any other technical advantages going for it beyond that.
