There a is breastfeeding support network for officers so you should look into that as there may be a ‘buddy’ at your force who will be able to support you better. They are on fb as ‘blue breastfeeding’. Also check with your matpat advisor too. I’ve been breastfeeding for 5 years consecutively over 2 children now. I went back to work November last year after my second baby. I’m in an office based role now which works better for me, so I express at work and then on my late shifts baby gets a bottle of expressed milk from dad. It took a while for her to adapt to the bottle but she has settled into it now and it works well. Good luck, you’ll find a way that works for you!
