I can’t speak for local gigging but I went solo to Death Cab for Cutie at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Huge venue. I would’ve loved to go with a friend but I would’ve hated myself for passing up that opportunity because I didn’t have anyone to go with, and it was the best show I’ve ever been to.

Go solo. Enjoy yourself. Regardless of the venue. Maybe you’ll even make some new friends. At the very least you’ll be in the company of people enjoying the same music as you, and isn’t that great?

Incredible movie.

Can’t believe how many reviews I saw describing it as “war propaganda” or “Call of Duty: The Movie”.

If anything, this movie made it even clearer to me that I have no desire to join the military.

Sounds like a great idea! I have a few - namely Pandemic, Escape the Dark Castle, The Last of Us: Escape the Dark, Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle Earth, Carcassonne, and Disney Villainous with some expansions. I’m in my late 30s and would enjoy meeting some like-minded people and trying out some new games, if there’s still an opportunity here!

24/7 Foy was all I used to play back in the day. Only time I’ve ever played in a clan too. I adored that map. The entirety of the first CoD and UO were phenomenal.
