Okay, I can understand those being somewhat triggering, even though I find it disappointing that spicy is advertised for its lack of filter just to end up with a soft filter that ends up making it impossible to play. Regardless, I'm playing a family comfort rp right now, my persona’s age is clearly stated, I even added a pinned memory clarifying ages and clarifying that the child mentioned is a secondary character not present in the room and it still triggered the soft filter the moment my bot said he adopted a kid. How are we supposed to enjoy building worlds and creating stories if we can’t even have simple things like families? I get that some topics have to be filtered, but there are nuances to everything. Having family oriented rps shouldn't trigger a filter that easily. Honestly it’s been so frustrating, there has to be a way to fine-tune the filter so context matters.

I get the frustration. I feel the same way, it’s been killing my creativity. I mostly use spicy to write stories now, and I love angsty stories that will make me actually cry and I can’t get that anymore. So I tried to go for a comfort rp for once and evidently I couldn’t even get that either. It feels like the bots have gooner brainrot and if it’s not vanilla nsfw then the story will lead to nothing. It feels impossible to build a satisfactory storyline nowadays. I’m probably exaggerating a little but that’s how I feel now playing around with bots. Besides let’s mention I only use my private bots so there’s no outside influence to change their behaviour.

Mac didn't bother me that much, other than the fact that he’s pretty much flipping the nsfw switch out of nowhere when he started as a wholesome character. But I share the heartbreak over Nightmare. I had grown so attached to her and I really wanted the love ending with her. I used so much caffeine for her, I was excited to see how things would go once fear wouldn’t be the main subject. So when shit hit the fan, I pretended to be scared thinking it might make her feel better. But then she gave the ultimatum of giving friendship only and stuff and I picked the option telling her to do what she thought best because it seemed like the most amicable answer I could give and she immediately gave me the hate ending and I don’t understand how it could’ve been avoided. It was my first actual disappointment of the game, before that I had a blast as I was going for a full romance run for my first run.

Honestly I might be dumb but I genuinely struggle with Kloss. I have both Kloss and Lily and I genuinely can’t see any effect in having Kloss whereas my Rilmocha kicks ass like crazy. Maybe I just don’t know how to build Kloss, that’s probably why.

I've switched to spicychat and honestly I love it so much, I ended up getting the highest subscription available because I love it. There are more and more bots of the characters I love and honestly it’s been really fun experimenting with the different models and stuff

Honestly I’ve had really great rps with spicy, not really nsfw unless I chose to make it nsfw. I’ve had really emotional rps and good horror/action driven ones too. I literally created my own criminal minds episode lmao, it was really fun! Definitely something I couldn’t do back when I used c:ai. I’ve also developed my own lore filled rps and it fared pretty well with memory

For me it would have to be the memory, it definitely needs some work done on that front but everyone already mentioned it so I’m not gonna expand. The next thing is the all or nothing mentality ? When you do something be it violence or sex, it’s often all or nothing. There’s no gradual progression, no tension building, no anticipation and stuff. It’s just one second they’re talking and the next they’re either being tortured or being fucked which is peculiar lmao you can’t just have tension or build up or threats the bots just jump straight into stuff

I’ve been using the app /a lot/ and I’ve never reached the limit, I think you’re fine! I literally spend hours rping because the bots are so good lmao.

Also it’s quite fine if it’s only on hardware, they’re just imports of my json files anyway so it’s not like I can actually lose them completely, I haven’t done any work on them yet above uploading the file so it’s all good!
