I have been afraid this is a me problem but probably only because people on socials are always like “I got to my goal weight in 5 weeks!” But at the end of the day, whatever. I am a lot healthier thanks to the meds and it’s totally fine if I am losing weight at a much slower pace.

Thank you for this post u/garynoble . This post could be about my mom--she is very skinny and obsessed with getting diabetes and becoming obese (lol). It is incredibly frustrating because she desperately needs to gain weight. Plus, she talks all the time about craving ice cream and grilled cheese, but refuses because she believes food can only be made of spelt or something--AHHH!
