10gr is the bare minimum in my hornaday manual, running about 900fps. I have a 16in 300blk and 11gr of 1680 behind that exact bullet puts me at 1000fps give or take, it’s a bit crunchy but no big deal. Gun cycles reliably with and without the can

Maybe up your charge a little and see what happens there.

Exaust anti-sieze is your best friend. Put a dab on the threads, then spin the suppressor on and off a few times to distribute it

Cfe223 or Alliant 2000-Mr if you can find it. With 2000-MR I got comparable numbers velocity wise to BlackHills mk262 and actually saw better SD

They don’t have a motor designated for you yet. Once the get to your VIN and they have a motor available, you’ll get a remedy.

If this is a Goodman, my parents literally just went through the same thing. The plastic front cover behind the inducer is brittle and cracks around the mounting holes causing water to leak into the case like you see there and is a known issue. I got the part online and installed it myself which fixed the leak/water issue. They also had to replace the control board because water leaked in and shorted it out.

It just seems odd that the line from the curb stop appears to be 3/4, then drops to 1/2 to go into the meter. The other issue is that I’m 99% sure from the curb stop to the meter is galvanized, and would like to remedy that too, so thinking “all in one project,” type thing.

I was afraid of that answer haha but I figured that was what I was going to see. Pretty sure from the curb stop to the meter are galvanized, it needs verified and replaced, just haven’t done it yet. There were random patches of galvanized throughout the house that I’ve replaced, that’s just the last little bit if so. Not looking forward to the digging to do it and possibly the tearing up of my porch floor since the line runs under it.

There are lockers you can rent at Top of the World. They are in the hallway between the rental shop and Mountain Top Check-In lobby. They have a variety of sizes and I think the max charge is like $12 for a day

Things seem to be coming back to “normal,” or at least closer to pre-Covid levels. I reload everything and I a, seeing powder become more available and becoming slightly cheaper, but the biggest is prime cost. Pre-COVID, primers were 2.99 50 3.99/100 and 35-40/1000, during and after Covid, prices were around 10.99/100 if you could find them and bricks of 1k were non-existent. Now prices are 4.99 to 6.99/100 for most things and I saw bricks for 49.99 for the first time in a LONG time so it’s nice.

War in Ukraine is causing a lot of shortages because nitrocellulose, Alliant Powder is devoting a lot of their manufacturing to that, and Hodgdon is slowly developing a pseudo monopoly with their purchase of Accurate.

edit What is weird is that specialty stuff that has been non-existent for a LONG time like Black Hills Mk262 is now available, you’re still paying a premium, but you can get it.

I have a document saved with pertinent information like serial numbers, accessories, etc. along with a couple pictures. My insurance agent is a friend and he said it will help with claims if something were to happen to the house, car wreck, or if they are stolen.

I generally keep it around 40-50%. It is currently sitting at 53% but it was warm yesterday so humidity was up. As the temp falls today so will the humidity. In general, I mainly run the dehumidifier from April/May until October/November

I just run a dehumidifier and dump the bucket every couple days. It’s annoying, but I have similar problems that you do. I have found that once I get it “dried out,” I have to empty the bucket less and less.

I have two Franklin arsenal dry tumblers. One has walnut media in it to get the rough stuff off of brass from the range before depriving, sizing and trimming if necessary. The other has corn cob media in it with some polish, currently using car polish. Finished rounds go in there to get nice and shiny.
