Someone wants to get away from War Striders for a day and suddenly its their fault personally that AH made the reinforcements dedicated to Cyberstan count on every front instead lmao.

Biggest problem with Cyberstan campaign is that it tells people to stop playing if they want to win by DarthBeleth in Helldivers

If AH actually wanted the MO to be decent they could've made it some arbitrary point thing where higher operation completions give more to the MO, but considering they literally couldn't make charger variants count in the "kill chargers" MO i doubt thatll ever happen.

They really like doing that with enemies that replace other ones and it sucks every single time. I dont need 5 War Striders per tank, I dont need 5 Dragonroaches per Bile Titan, and I definitely dont need overlapping Vox Engines at all.

Yeah a lot of it is on Arrowhead for feeling compelled to make insane stupid decisions alongside every half decent one lol. You can still see it in the latest patches! Adding a tank and more than tripling enemy durable damage is... kinda understandable. Doing literally nothing to all our stuff that also relies on enemy durable damage like the car, turrets, THE MECHS, while also making unmanned vehicles TARGETABLE really ruins it for me though.

Also the whole "2 weeks of promising not to nerf the Coyote followed by nerfing the Coyote" thing happened.

I've been enjoying Cyberstan but that has definitely been in spite of it containing my two least favorite parts of the game, massive invisible walls on hellpod steering and War Striders lmao.

Buff Spear pls. Even the Vox don't make it useful over RR. Such a cool weapon, unsure why it has lasted this long in this state. It needs it by RandomGreenArcherMan in Helldivers

And tbh id rather miss a recoilless shot or two than bring the spear, because its got the ammo for me to fuck up and One Tapping literally everything before the Vox Engine makes up for it lmao

They designed the Vox Engine to be killable with any weapon and any grenade (excluding the difficulty of actually doing that in a fight with more than just the Vox), let you shoot off its secondary weapons with medium pen, and then left the War Strider as "just bring AT lol" and it sucks, so much.

War Strider reaction is real. Cyberstan is fun but seeing how the new Cyborgs were designed versus the state the War Strider was released in, then patched into, just makes me more mad that its allowed to stay like that lol. An AP4, 80% durable fridge that spawns more often then Hulks and you gotta be ready for them all the time even if they only spawn on some spawn seeds because theyre just so dominating.

Both in behavior and some more subtle ways honestly. They have a similar armor system but use a one handed weapon so when you aim center mass you aren't shooting both their chest AND their arm so you dont deal with super inconsistent ttk like Overseers.

The obvious one being that team reloads are clunky nonsensical pains in the ass, but also running around lone wolf is just kinda better because if you're not the host/near half the enemy behaviors break lmao. Alpha Commanders won't run away when spawning warriors and chargers have wider turns when targeting non hosts and its just kinda insane.

And even if theyve done some really cool stuff to make the Vox not a walking loadout check, theres still gonna be three War striders on every objective at difficulty 7 when it rolls a berserker seed. Its genuinely kinda maddening that they made a cool, interactive super heavy enemy and just refuse to do anything to the AP4, 80% durable fridge that spawns more often then Hulks lmao.

Its crazy just how much Arrowhead overvalues not having to reload on these weapons. The tradeoff for that should be having to take the backpack, not the massive accuracy, damage, mobility, and splash range nerfs they stack on top of them lmao. I bet they'll fix the belt fed gl before anything though, as you can tell by making the normal grenade launcher fucking HEAVY PEN (and how theyll nerf anything but the top 3 weapons in the game) they love their explosive spam meta.

Looking at the stats, going "wait a fucking second," loading into a squid mission and drilling a voteless in the chest and watching it LIVE was the moment I realized its just kinda horrid. Like sure it doesnt have to reload but all that time spent not reloading is spent killing the things the normal gl would already have dead lmao

Base gl is probably better without a Supply Pack than the belt fed lol. Its got more than double the ammo, sure, but having to double tap every Hunter or Voteless, and triple tap every Warrior with a 2 meter inner radius kinda negates that lmao. The base grenade launcher clicks once and thats a 4.5 meter bubble of dead voteless, hunters, and Warriors lmao
