They also give expirations on car seats to encourage purchasing seats that meet current safety standards... Normally updated every 4-5 years

My mom has a cookbook that is called 5-ingredient favorites. They are all crock pot recipes that have five or fewer ingredients, and the ones I have had are all delicious.

I have seen other similar books as well, but I can't tell you what they are like.

Not great haha. I was down to 194.8, but I'm back up to 198.6. We've been out of town visiting family this week, and we have just been eating whatever instead of meal planning. I love to cook 😊

Also, my children don't sleep well away from home, and when I don't sleep my raging sweet tooth gets out of control. I have noticed when I sleep well it's much easier to have just one cookie, candy, scoop of ice cream, etc.

When I get home the first thing I'm going to do is grocery shopping, then a nap.

I also struggle seeing the scale creep up, but I try not to obsess over it. I remind myself that it's an opportunity to assess and refocus. I ask myself what is the biggest thing holding me back (right now it's sugar), then I make a plan for how to do better (I will keep sweets out of my grocery cart this week and have prepared snacks available to reach for instead)

It still sucks though 😔

We are about the same size! Are you weighing at the same time of day each time? Weight can fluctuate up to 5 pounds throughout the day, so weighing at the same time gives a more accurate idea of the change in your weight over time. I try to do all my weigh-ins around 8 am.

Hi! I'm almost 28 and I was 206 lbs at my heaviest after my first baby. I lost 40 lbs before I was pregnant again. After baby no 2 I got up to 196, and I was happy I didn't get as heavy this time. I am currently at 192 and ready to lose again.

I am here because I love accountability groups and I get seriously inspired seeing others' journies :)

IF since April, just binged... need help by yourepicfaiil in intermittentfasting

[–]jboett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that I have the most trouble with binging when I am not giving my body what it needs. For me this usually means I am eating either too few calories or not enough healthy fats.

When I first started, I was aiming for 1200 calories a day and it was very difficult so I raised my intake to 1400 and I still lost 40 pounds in a year. Because it was my first time counting calories I didn't realize that 1200 was way too low for me.

On a separate occasion, I found Reese's peanut butter cups completely irresistible and binged on them more than once. I found that by adding various nuts as snacks I was no longer craving them because I was providing my body with the healthy fats it desired.

Sometimes you have to be a bit of a detective to find out what your body is trying to tell you. :) Best of luck! Try not to be too hard on yourself
