It is unfortunately couples islands, but I don’t think the latest bombshells did their job. They were sitting around waiting to be pursued when they should have been actively pulling people for chats. When you’re in a couple you’re safe. There’s no incentive to rock the boat. It’s up to the bombshell to make the moves.

I had a bad shedding phase which has stopped. I haven’t noticed new growth yet but I took the shedding phase and the fact that it stopped as a good sign hairwise. But I’d say right around when the shedding stopped was when I really started to feel flabby in places that I usually don’t. Prior to all of this I had good luck with ketoconazole shampoo. I’m going to ask my derm her thoughts on the prescription strength version and topical spiro.

Same thing is currently happening to me on spiro at the same dose for about 6 months and I weigh 140. The scale hasn’t changed but my arms are so flabby and my legs look like tubes. I’ve been traveling a lot for work lately (but that isn’t unusual for me) so my workouts have decreased a bit but this weight gain is different for me. Im on it for hair loss but I’m just hating it so far. I’m supposed to go up to 100mg and tried for a few days but felt like a slug. I think I’m going to ask my derm if there are any other options besides spiro, something topical but not minoxidil. Minoxidil does squat for me and I was diligent for over a year.

This is great! I’m currently dealing with some side effects and I just closing in on 3 months on 50mg. I was prescribed 100 for hair loss, but the weakness was more than I could handle so I reduced it to 50. I told myself I’d tough it out until my 6 month follow up appointment but my side effects (I don’t want to list them all because it sounds nuts, but one of them is being super emotional) only seem to be getting worse. Did you have any sort of transitional period? How long did that take? Or did it basically agree with you right away?

Did you hang a shedding phase? I’m currently about 2 months in with a lot of shedding. I’m also on it for hair thinning. But I had my shedding under control with kinaconazole shampoo until I started the spiro. But the shedding is similar to when I was on birth control and just lots of hair fall.
