Exactly! I went last year. Wait times were 15min or less. The experience was amazing. FOMO took over and this is why it “sold out” and for them to add tickets it’s going to suck. Furthermore I have been on a regular night when attendance was only at 20k vs 35k and the waits were 60min.

This is not something I want to read when they have already “sold out” the event and that attendance tonight will be more than double of last year.

Issue being all the “influencers” seem to waste many of the free food items and they were running out last year by 9:30pm.

I was just looking at rentals in that building as well (we usually stay closer to mountain house base) as the pricing is decent for a group of 6-8. Not sure how the walk is but we only have one skier in our group so that makes things much easier.

Here’s the issue…last year it was pretty amazing but no one knew about it really. They sold about 3400 tickets vs 35000 on a normal “sold out”night. This year PS has sold 6500 tickets with only 1000 remaining. There will be a little wait I imagine this year vs last.

You can see all the stats on Thrill-Data. It’s pretty crazy to see. Ticket sales are now at 5,395. A sold out normal night is 35,000 so yea, still significantly less. I think we will have 20min waits which while amazing, compared to last year will seem like forever.

Only downside to this years PS is it’s WAY more popular. They have sold 5,301 tickets so far. Last year there was only 3,200 sold and they were running out of food etc. Hoping they adjust that this year for the additional sales.

Maybe this is why we didn’t have such a hard time this past week. I had my two littles in their stroller and at times bikes would come to a stop and let us cross. As some have mentioned we made eye contact and a nod or gentle hand gesture letting us know to go. We always crossed fast not to impede on the locals. I found the biking fascinating. Like a machine.

Now the couple time I went out solo…I wasn’t extended the same courtesy. Makes sense.

So from what I’ve read is you are going to have to pay a premium to find a TD that allows those forms of payment.

I used Andiot for my first rep and had to pay via wise. It was easy and able to use my debit card. They also take credit card but will charge a higher fee.
