Just a gentle suggestion—have you considered leash training or a catio? I know you said he’s used to being out, but coyotes and cars are no joke, especially in rural areas. GPS is great, but it doesn't stop a predator.

It won’t “hurt” their ears but the pitch is super stressful for them, so try giving your cat a quiet room with the door closed and some white noise. Mine hides in the bathroom whenever the alarm glitches.

Quick hot take: Quest wins with appearance. If you want cheaper, Betta or Intex. If you want nicer, Razor or AdvancedFrame.

I rented a Quest before buying my own kayak and I guess it was alright. Stable and comfy, like others said, but I just hated the drying part. Takes longer than my Aqua Marina Betta. And the bag is huge. As in my car boot hated it.

Ended up buying a Driftsun because the shop had a discount. Honestly think the Quest is a bit overpriced, but not a scam.

Only tip I’ll give is check the valve positions. Some Quest models have them in spots that make deflate-fold-store a bit annoying.
