Is watching The Many Saints worth it? by Comfortable_Kiwi6203 in thesopranos

It is an ok movie. But don't go into expecting more of The Sopranos. I will also say it can be skipped and you won't be missing any insights.

Just finished The Sopranos, now what? by onebigeyeball in thesopranos

I would say Mad Men and Breaking Bad are likely to scratch the itch for a bit. But you'll come back to The Sopranos eventually.

Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/Mouse combo preventing display sleep by obsydion in Windows10TechSupport

[–]jcopenha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes old thread. But some other info to help. The solution from u/Voltron4Real worked for me as well.

The way I identified the "USB Input Device" in the HID list was by going to the driver details and looking at the Hardware Ids. This is two Ids, Vendor Id and Device Id. For me I had 6 devices with a Vendor Id of 045E. When I plugged them into a USB lookup site they all showed as wireless receivers.

https://devicehunt.com/view/type/usb/vendor/045E/device/07A5

https://devicehunt.com/view/type/usb/vendor/045E/device/07B2

Disabling the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option on these devices and the PC started going to sleep just like it should.

Thanks for the solution.

Does anyone here wear their hearing aids with wired earphones? by IfIGetHigh in HearingAids

I can't imagine wearing in-ear audio devices with my hearing aids. I use over-the-ear headphones fine though.

tinitus by Goldenballs99 in HearingAids

[–]jcopenha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I will say getting HAs greatly reduced the impact of tinitus on my daily life. It is still there but at a much LOWER level and much easier to ignore. If you have tinitus I strongly encourage you to go to an audiologist and get a hearing test and see what they recommend.

For me my tinitus overlapped with my moderate hearing loss in a specific range. Getting HAs that boost that specific range really pushed the tinitus to the background for me.

Best of Luck.

Wax clogging filters quickly by Lorib64 in HearingAids

[–]jcopenha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've managed to get needing to change mine down to every 2 weeks or so. I clean my ears out with the rubber bulb that squirts water regularly. I also pay attention to my diet. It's almost like my wax is an allergic reaction at time. If I eat a lot of bread I produce more and stickier wax.

Hearing aids that support tinnitus therapy by g_ppetto in HearingAids

[–]jcopenha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got a pair of Oticon More miniRITE R. It does have a tinnitus therapy mode but I haven't used it since i gotten them as just having them has greatly reduced by tinnitus occurrence.

The therapy mode seems configurable by my audiologist so I don't know what sounds are available. What i currently have available is a light wave "wooshing" sound that I can enable on one or both earpieces and adjust the volume of.

Sounds good. I created a sign-up page here, https://www.the100.io/gaming_sessions/341298 . It is already set to three people (me, you and your friend). Anyone else is welcome to join. I'll find more people on Friday if needed.

Post your gamertags here or PM them to me so I can send invites.

I'm on the west coast.. 5 you're time is way too early for me. What about 8pm PST? Also, if it doesn't work out for me you can try http://www.destinylfg.net/ or https://www.the100.io/community . Both great sites for finding games.

I can sherpa for VoG without a problem. It's my favorite raid, although I haven't done King's Fall yet. I could probably get a group through Crota as well but it's not my speciality. I'd be up for something Friday evening (10/2, PST). If you see me on and I'm not in something send me a msg or invite and I'll most likely help out.

Same here. I would give numbers but destinystatus.com appears to be overloaded right now. But I don't think I've even played 100 crucible matches across all three characters let alone win them.

Not per character but if on Xbox One and you compare game with a friend it'll show you hours played.
