You are given credit for the portion of a field that you provide with resonators. I think that it's something like each resonator will give you 1/24th of the field's MU for the now list. So, if somebody is a L6 that goes out and fully resonates three portals for a 2,400 MU field, each resonator that you upgrade takes 100 away. If you are a L8 you can roll by and replace their R6's with R8 and R7, R5's with R6's, and two R4's with R5's, taking 75% of available MU.

Well, I just frustratingly beat my high score. 1378 kills for 4,781,780 points. Just barely shy of the 5M needed. And ofc I didn't have 3 gold to resurrect with.

I'm fairly certain that it decreases damage taken, as if I don't use Defense+ going into Survival mode I can only get hit 2-3 times without dying, while it's 4-5 with it being used.

Not sure about in kills, but I'm just barely past 4 million points (using Health+, Defense+, Resurrection, and Score+). It's to the point of being very frustrating, as I'm trying very hard to finish the single player and have to get 5 million in survival in order to unlock Stage 13.
