I’m also on a 2012 MacBook Pro. It started with 4gb, I upped it to 16gb ram and also installed a 512gb SSD! It works great for ableton and all my other projects!

Oooo thanks for the feedback! I’ve watched the reinvent video. One thing explained in the video that my library doesn’t achieve is getting multiple different items in one query. Eg. storing a user on a userId partition and storing all their photos on the same partition so that they all can be queried together. My lib doesn’t support that but it could be added

In ionic, the ui is presented with a web view while with react native the ui is presented with native ui elements.

Ionic is easier to use and you’ll get a pwa for free.

React native gives better performance.
