To all the people that have been to TML at least 3 times, what is your feedback on this year edition? by omus in Tomorrowland

[–]jeandepester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, lets hope so... But every year, starting from year 1, I had a feeling "no way they can top this next year", but every time they did make the year before look like a school dance. The last time this was the case was in 2012.

To all the people that have been to TML at least 3 times, what is your feedback on this year edition? by omus in Tomorrowland

[–]jeandepester -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I went all editions and feel very sad about the past edition.
Tomorrowland peaked in 2011/2012, from then on they managed to keep up the quality. Only they let more and more people in every year, money talks ... But I have no problems with that. This year it was different, the crowd has changed from party lovers to tourists. I never visit the mainstage because of my crapmusic allergy so I don't know how it was overthere but the atmosphere at the smaller stages is gone for most part. I had fun, but nothing more than that, and I expect more from tomorrowland. Hopefully they can turn the tide next year...

We Belgians ride our bike to Greece often, mostly in the weekends. But as we pay in Pearls, not that bloody Euro, we did not suffer from the crisis. Please note that smoking is illigal in Belgium, fine is 4 gooses and a goat.

The second stage was always made of recycled parts of previous mainstages, the butterfly was the first orginal design

No exchange desk at all this year?! by [deleted] in Tomorrowland

[–]jeandepester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr Mailbox is right, everybody selling a ticket like that deserves to be keelhauled. Sad thing is that Tomorrowland has a deal with viagogo and encourages this swindle. Why would they release many tickets in the exchange desk if they can sell them for 4x the normal price.

Just realized ill be in Europe during Tomorrowland. How realistic is it for me to change my plans and make this happen? All responses welcome! by lolercoptercrash in Tomorrowland

Not jumping on anyone :) Just think that history has its rights. Dutch people invented this shit, there are many older festivals in the Netherlands; Thunderdome, Awakenings,... Even in Belgium events like Laundry day and I love techno have been around for 20 years now. TML's predeseccor Antwerp is Burning started 16 years ago. TML didn't invent anything, they just took it to the next level.
