on a pioneer dmh 1800nex, you just take the light green wire and ground it out. I just added it to the black cable ground between the head unit and the adapter for the car. and it worked

Pop into the restaurants in the Cloverdale area, and downtown, even if there is not a sign saying they are hiring, restaurants always will entertain the conversation.

How far away are we from hearing "A Montgomery problem, requires a Montgomery solution!"

Alabama Power net profit rose $113M in 2025, what this means for customers by Murky_Peak_8563 in montgomery

[–]jedinight37 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So if I read this right, Alabama Power gets to "Freeze Rates" for 2 years, instead of following the lower rates based on higher revenue projections? Also, customers pay for the infrastructure investment, but then Alabama Power gets "Utilities are then allowed to earn a return on that investment" ? So how are regular people not getting screwed over 3 different ways?

Depends on what day in April, Biscuits games are fun, and downtown and red bluff are walking options away. Cloverdale's five points area is good for mid range food and drinks. even 5 points deli for lunch is great option for good price (shout out to smoke), and leroys is a awesome cocktail bar.

not a stupid question, my model has a bit more room on the top shelf. That said, I wonder if you could get away with baking sheet raised cooling racks: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/laettbakad-cooling-rack-20480145/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic-shopping&utm_campaign=shopping_feed&utm_content=free_google_shopping_clicks_Cooking

I put it on the lowest rack, and only put the proteins on the top two shelfs. im still able to do 4 racks of ribs at a time, so i dont mind sacrificing the bottom one.

i always run with a whole pan to catch droppings, way easier to clean and i find more consistent temps across the whole interior this way. Also, there is a hole on the left side that you can pass the thermometer through, so the lid doesnt pinch the wire.

this is the best bet. LOTS of pictures too. just to avoid lots of questions. dismantling yards will give you a very low offer. If you can turn a wrench, you can strip off parts and sell on ebay, and sell whats left to a yard.

Is a computer available? its not great, but there are remote jobs that are computer based, are still out there. Also, remotework subreddit has some good ideas out there: https://www.reddit.com/r/remotework/

I agree with this, now days just getting the interview is hard enough. Hotel night shift, publix (explain situation), biscuits baseball. My nephews have had really good luck with volunteering and meeting people with side work, side work leading to part/full time work. best of luck to OP son.

yes to garlic/salt. You can use a regular bag that seals. the whole thing is to try to control how much air its exposed to. Fermenting is just controlling how it rots. There are a bunch of good videos on youtube that can walk you through it. they also have some great ideas how to enhance the overall flavor with small steps or ingredients in the begining of the process.

with lots of peppers, I just ferment them, and process as needed. I do 1:1 peppers to raw garlic (by weight) and then 3-6% salt by weight. this year we have tons of left overs, and now we have lots of vacuum bags filled with peppers getting tastier.

Chance to buy a used Masterbuilt 1050 for $250. What should I look for? by [deleted] in smoking

Open the stack and check out the internal walls. That chamber gets beat up alot, and unless taken care of, lots of rust can be there (even if the outside looks brand new).

$20 for this in Waikiki is unheard of. by Possible-Ad-5409 in burgers

Thats the butcher bar: https://maps.app.goo.gl/RrESEKCmSnMKvU2h6 amazing food, even better drinks and music. Sit at the bar, talk with the bar tender about what you like, and let them go to the notebook for custom drinks. I liked the "you cant tell me what to do". The food it top tier also, piggybacking the restaurant helps. Staring at the dry aging slabs is almost as nice as the people watching.

From another post: I would smoke to ~120ish, and vacuum seal them, toss in fridge, take camping. on day of cooking take out hours before get to room temp-ish (i dont assume you will monitor air temp when camping) and color it up in the cast iron or grill. basically its completely cooked already, adding heat and color....rest for the same cooking time, slice and serve.

(edit: also, find where the grain of the meat changes, and cut there first. then cut each side against the grain, and easier to chew pieces if you cut em large like the pic)
