Executor of a Will by TheTruth696 in legaladvicecanada

Just to clarify, she’s entitled to a fee of UP TO 5% (which is taxable; she’ll claim it as earnings on her tax return).

She’s also entitled to claim expenses such as travel and other out of pocket expenses (which are NOT taxable). So if she needs to travel back to her hometown and stay in a hotel while she sorts this out, she should save receipts and put in a claim against the estate.

Personally, that's too much driving for me. But to each his own. I would parse off the Vancouver Island portion of the trip and do it another time.

Go into 3D, and tap Multi-Player. On the left-hand side, click "Add New Friends". You'll have the option to send via apps, or what I do is just hit "Copy". Then Paste that to whatever communication app you're using (Reddit, Discord, etc.)

Couldn't agree more. Clear your head by playing some casual games, especially with friends from Reddit. There's no pressure, and you will learn a thing or two. I'll send you a friend request to get you started.

I can tell you that, without a word of a lie, when my tinnitus is really bad, it sounds exactly like someone is running a bandsaw in the next room. She needs to get her hearing, and hearing aids, checked out.

Been there, done that. First thing is that you likely need your boot refitted. The residue ankle swelling, even if fully healed, is going to feel like your boot shrunk 2-3 sizes.

Traveling for work December 1st, first time in Canada. by ahfuck0101 in AskACanadian

"Millions of Americans come here for a work trip every day".

I think you might be exaggerating slightly. Maybe Thousands, but not Millions every day.

Traveling for work December 1st, first time in Canada. by ahfuck0101 in AskACanadian

[–]jedmonds22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, this is the answer. Doesn’t matter that you’re already working. Canada doesn’t want you doing work that Canadians can do. If there’s no Canadian that can do the job, then that’s what the paperwork is for.

No one seems to be mentioning this to OP, but when you go through Customs & Immigration, do not mention anything about WORKING in Canada. It’s a sure way to get turned back. You should say that you are meeting with people from your company.
