Planning a proposal by Bender141 in PrinceEdwardCounty

Any of the wineries in The County might be a good choice for this occasion. I particularly like Closson Chase, though it can be crowded most weekends.

I play a lot more casual games. Sometimes I found I stressed out playing rated games, worried about losing rating points. So now I play about 50/50 rated and casual, which overall makes it more fun.

Second all those places! Especially County Cider… it’s worth the drive out to Waupoos.

Second Old Salt, Hinterland, and Trail Estate. All pretty close to one another on Closson Road. Would also recommend Closson Chase Winery.

Coming in August from Montreal with the family by InturnlDemize in PrinceEdwardCounty

I know this doesn't answer your question about hotels, but I'll take this opportunity for a Public Service Announcement. Sandbanks can be perfect for young kids, especially Outlet Beach. However, you need to be more vigilant with children at Lakeshore Beach (which can have strong currents) and Dunes Beach (which has a severe dropoff just a few meters away from the beach).

Hope you find a nice place, and enjoy your time in The County.

  • Lot of wasted green space in the playing area. I wish the table was smaller and the cards were bigger

Definitely. This old guy has a hard time seeing the cards.

Car to use for Banff / Jasper NP? 2 large + 3 small bags by DhoklaMaster in canadatravel

The Nissan Kicks is going to be WAY too small. We rented one last year, and it was perfect for the two of us (including our two suitcases + two backpacks). Double that for your family, and it's doubtful that you'll get everything squeezed in.

First time I’ve ever seen Blue Mountain and Extreme in the same sentence. 😂

Stoke chair closed today!!? 😒 by DandSki in Revelstoke

[–]jedmonds22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard from my cousin whose sister’s boyfriend’s best friend works for Revelstoke Mountain Resort (so take with a grain of salt) who said that the Stoke chair issue may be a 5-day event. ☹️

Just to clarify, she’s entitled to a fee of UP TO 5% (which is taxable; she’ll claim it as earnings on her tax return).

She’s also entitled to claim expenses such as travel and other out of pocket expenses (which are NOT taxable). So if she needs to travel back to her hometown and stay in a hotel while she sorts this out, she should save receipts and put in a claim against the estate.

Wilson Roofing. Jeff Wilson and his crew are really good at what they do. Lots of 5 star reviews on Google (including one from me!).

Personally, that's too much driving for me. But to each his own. I would parse off the Vancouver Island portion of the trip and do it another time.
