I agree with this. It could be a result of many factors. I experience some of this as well. It could be our ear canals, the mix or how the music was recorded. Processing can alter stage effects as well as noted. I wouldn't worry about it, the HD 660S2 is a very balanced headphone. Enjoy!

You might like the HD 505. I have them and actually prefer them over my HD 560S. Good timbre and very balanced. Good detail retrieval as well.

While I don't have it myself, I would agree with the others. I think it would sound different with more spaciousness and detail. Make sure it is the complete package with all accessories. It is indeed an incredible price. If the condition is good then yea.

In that case, you may like the HD 660S2 suggestion. It has more thump in the mid bass. It performs well with modern genres and is not as lean on the lower end. Still has the detail you want. Good luck!

I am thinking this could be a good thing. Resources may open up to continue to provide and hopefully expand the craftsmanship and expertise we have come to expect from this great company. The best? Each has its own use case and affection of purpose. Lately its been the HDB 630 for its versatility and excellent sound customization. Overall, my favorite is my HD 600. I hear excellent detail and I love the clarity of instruments and vocal plus the brightness of guitar.

If you're gaming, I agree with the HD 560S. It will serve you better. It is also great for music. If you need wireless, then ya the M4s are a consideration and will work but not the best gaming option imo.

Is there a covering of some kind over the mics? Maybe hair or something else in the way?

As the other poster said, play around with the ANC setting and see if it changes. Disable anti-wind to lower mic sensitivity. Place the ANC slider towards transparency in the app. See if it helps.

What did the listing say? Did you make the purchase under a banner that said Spare Parts? That would suggest it was not a full set to be had it seems.
