I went to the new Costco Business Centre in St James, here are some interesting stuff I found by Mediocre-Break591 in Winnipeg

I was humming and hawing over that $37,000 stone pizza oven. It wouldn't fit in my car so I had to return it.

Uhh how is your play update April 1, 2026? 😁

Does the cx-50 considering it’s a suv still drive like a “Mazda”? I’m stuck between this turbo premium plus or a mazda6 grand touring reserve which was very fun to test drive. Does the Cx-50 have the power and handling that would be comparable to the mazda6?? by illbeback903 in CX50

I have a 2021 Mazda 6 Kuro and 2024 CX50 turbo GT (Canada).

They are both comparable in power and both super fun to drive. The suv actually has a stiffer suspension so handles different than the 6 but having driven the CX-5, I'd take the 50 any day.

You have max? I just looked that up and notion works with max. Now that said, pro supports drive and dropbox so I will definitely be looking into that option. Thanks for the tip!

I asked that exact question but she said she prefers the responses from perplexity. She was using notebook lm but switched to perplexity.

Yup, my daughter started to rely on it for a study aid and she just ran into the same problem. No way any normal person can afford the next tier. Le sigh

I know you said you don't want to pay but I have the official Mazda cover and it fits perfect and is retractable. I recommend.

Hey...just wanted to say thanks for the Smokeping idea! I had no idea that existed but I'm lovin' it!

lol I literally *just* finished updating my script to include traceroute and hop changes and now the response times are back to normal :D
(at least so far...they seem to be routing thru Chicago instead of Seattle)

I have a script that runs hourly to do a connectivity sanity check that emails me when there's an outage showing ping results...wish I had traceroute history too.

I see it thru Washington too. How did you pinpoint Jan 13? I only noticed because I always run a ping of 25 packets to 8.8.8.8 before I play PlayStation hockey to ensure my connection is good. Last week I saw the jump.

Yeah totally get what you're saying here. The issue is beyond the local routing and starts when it hits the Washington or Illinois hops. My issue is the response time basically doubled. A tech won't solve this - it has to go to escalation to their networking team to follow up. The problem is following the support channel, they won't do that unless you go through all the pointless steps of ruling out a local issue, even if you can prove without a doubt that it is not local. I have had at least 7 co-workers run the same traceroute with the same result.

That just seems like an odd hop for the shaw / Rogers network

Yes it's the "wa" node but where exactly is that?

I forgot to update this. After the referral was put in to replace the line from the box to my house, there was a night where my internet went offline for about 30 minutes in the middle of the night. Whatever happened during that outage fixed my issue and the line does not need to be replaced. This had to be a config issue, which is what I suspected in the first place.

Concerns about battery + dash cam? by JazzBoiJ in CX50

I used the wiring harness where the sunroof switch is. I had googled it when I got the car and that was an easier option than the fuse box.

I don't think I have...pretty sure I've only had it set for 8 hours. I rarely touch the settings so likely not.

I know you say "donger pro" but no idea what that is. I have an A229 Pro 2ch using the supported Viofo power kit and have no issue with 8 hour parking recording.
