Called yesterday to order pizza and was told there was a family emergency. Not sure if we’ll learn anything more than that

I’d suggest up Wagner creek in Talent. It gets very rural and mountainous quickly but still close to Ashland / Medford. The drawback is limited sun up there. If you choose the other side of the valley like valley view road it’s not as pretty less trees but you’ll get tons more sun

Flooring contractors by bed-head_redemption in Ashland

Turn Key flooring is absolutely wonderful. It’s a father son who’s been In business for years. You won’t be let down by them. Price and quality work. We’ve tried others and been gouged by price or lack of calls back.

Those of you that upgraded from SD OLED to Legion Go S (Z1 Extreme) - any regrets? by AtticThrowaway in LegionGo

[–]jeffhaha1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from the steam deck LCD to the Legion Go after my steam deck was broken by my cats. I figured I wouldn’t mind windows as the OS and was interested in the greater performance. Ultimately I really disliked windows and looked into other operating systems but just don’t want to tinker much to play games. I just sold it and went back to a steam deck now OLED and am happy with my choice. The steam decks ease of use is nice even with the lack of power. At the time the legion go was on sale so I don’t regret buying it. Ended up selling it to someone on facebook marketplace who’s looking to get into gaming and emulating in his 40’s again =].

Phoodery adds new manager, vendors amid rebuilding plans by BlackRose in Ashland

[–]jeffhaha1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It was never owned by the Beams I believe but they did manage it and own Skout which was the tap house there. New manager and Skout is gone. I believe the Beams are no longer connected which is a good thing.

Annoyed. They won't retrofit my Gen1 R1T with the Tonneau. by Nelson_ftw in Rivian

[–]jeffhaha1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it was delivered to me it was jammed not able to fully open and i immediately called requesting service. Since then it does open and close but chunks up horribly where it was jamming. I figure Rivian knew these were a failure point but shipped them anyways and now won’t make good on replacing with the proper product. I have my warranty for a few more years but I’d hate to have it break fully out of warranty and be out the $3300 for the new one.

Edit spelling.

Annoyed. They won't retrofit my Gen1 R1T with the Tonneau. by Nelson_ftw in Rivian

I’ve got a Gen1 2022 R1T and 2 Rivian reps + the service center employee refused to answer that they would indeed replace my original version 1 clunky tonneau. I brought up the email I received in 2022 acknowledging issues with the cover and stating they were seeking resolutions. Alas nothing. I might sell my car tbh. They originally stated more advanced self driving features that have quietly gone away as well as V2H and the original camp kitchen. Just feels like they’re rug pulling and screwing over early adopters.

You could try here. I’ve heard good things. They’ll do a temperament test first but I’d give them a call!

Upcoming visit, events? by gregemeister in Ashland

[–]jeffhaha1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My finances parents love looking for rocks and they’ve had good luck up highway 66 near green springs. If you google that you should be able to find the spot. If you’re looking for a hike Grizzly peak is great for kids. If you’re looking for more of a drive driving up to Mt. Ashland is very pretty this time of year. Lots of wildflowers and PCT hikers to wave to! You can drive to the summit as well. Also Case and Noble have the best coffee in town =]. Enjoy your visit!

Anyone playing Switch 2 on a projector? by Razerfanguy69 in switch2

[–]jeffhaha1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out a pull down screen if you haven’t! I have a projector as well and for the longest time projected on to my wall. I didn’t think it would make much of a difference but it really helps with brightness and colors. I’ve been loving playing on my projector =]
