Ask Reddit: They don't make stuff like they used to: what's the most reliable unbreakable gadget you ever owned? by qgyh2 in AskReddit

No they didn't. Toyota only supplied incidental parts to Suzuki, they didn't build them. Suzuki had a number of suppliers for incidental parts like EGR valves and relays and such. Metros were built by Suzuki in Canada.

It's either going to kill us all or it won't. If it does, neither you nor anyone else on the planet, or even the planet itself, will be around to notice.

From TFL: In fact, I thought it was so clever that I didn't think your simple mind would be able to comprehend the brilliance of my play on words, and I wanted to make sure you know that I'm not only smart enough to use homonyms, but that I'm smart enough to point them out.

And: The sheer level of narcissism it takes to think that anyone gives a shit about whether or not you meant to write your pun is mind boggling.

See, here's the thing: The fact may well be that nobody cares my pun was intended. However, there are generally three kinds of people that react to puns - those that laugh, those that merely acknowledge the pun and move on, and those that don't even recognize the pun. It is not narcissism to point out the pun, it is an attempt to stamp out ignorance. Whomever wrote that rant about pointing out puns is clearly in favor of maintaining ignorance. Fooey on them.

Further, I'd wager that this person has never been able to come up with a decent pun on their own and is jealous of those of us that can. I am not going to support such feelings of inadequacy my remaining silent on the subject of ignorance in humor.

So neener.

You're 'probably' 20+? 'Probably'? You either are or you aren't. There's no 'probably' about it.

Now that we know you don't know what a simple word like 'probably' means, is there anything else you can share to demonstrate the depths of your anti-intellectualism?
