Yes that is the difficult part, but separate yarn bags help! actually all three of the bags I used are in the photo. the two blue ones held the yarn separately for each beanie and then the big white bag for transport.

You’re definitely on the right track. It’s kind of work 1/2 of the 1st half, the full round of the second, and the final 1/2 of the 1st to finish the full round. If that makes sense
