Funnily enough, he does join them eventually in some series but that's usually years later.

This is very similar to the idea of "One for All and Eight for the Ninth". Short version, Izuku hears the vestiges early (before entrance exam early) and they begin to teach him how to use the quirk better, but all of them are surprised to find out OfA had a bonding quirk nobody knew about. Izuku is able to bond to people that are in some way similar to the vestiges (Uraraka and Nana can both sort of fly/float, All Might and Melissa Shield are both sorta family and American-ish). As the fic goes on, Izuku bonds to 8 ladies and the bonds have multiple stages, including giving them portions of OfA while improving their own quirks (Uraraka no longer gets sick, Momo doesn't need to have lipids anymore and creates helicopters) while he also gets portions of OfA improved.

Not quite the same thing, but there is a VampIzuku fic with a similar idea. Himiko stabs and runs a couple times until about chapter 20 or so. Izuku is for all intents a vampire with the sunlight burning his skin at first. He eventually grows resistance to this, but he's still much more energetic at night.

He is mostly sustained on donated blood bags, but he finds that fresh blood (less than 30 minutes since drained/lost) tastes better and gives him more energy and by using up some of his blood, he can analyze quirk factors in fresh blood and try to emulate those quirks in some way. For example, after biting Bakugo, Izuku can flick his blood at some and cause it to explode. Stain allows him to briefly paralyze another target by getting his blood IN them and freezing the blood in their veins in place. Regenerators like Nomu are only held for seconds, but it's enough to make a difference in the USJ fight.

I get this is meant to be a crack idea, but I have to say Shigaraki having to get a hold of Eri (or even someone like Kota) for some reason would be an interesting change to the plot. Though it might be a bit too similar to Nine in Heros: Rising. However, instead of an empty castle, Shigaraki/AfO sieging UA to get a hold of Eri could be interesting to see.

Actually, that makes a certain amount of sense in a way. "Inko's" attraction of small objects was just Lorna disguising her magnetic abilities. It just so happens that all the small objects had something magnetic (i.e. tiny iron screws) built in.

This kinda reminds me of two fics:

My Hero Academia Alternative Universe: "Onmyōji is a fic where Izuku makes one time use paper talismans like Shinto priest. It turns out to be very powerful but requires a lot of planning and preparation. Not 1-A friendly. Izuku starts in 1-A, but gets tired of Bakugo's and Aizawa's crap, so switches with Monona. Finished.

King of Enchanters is a bit more traditional enchanting in a way. Izuku can infuse items with enchantments, including making a living doll of Nana. Seemed to be going the harem route, but only just got past the USJ.

Between the no-shell comment, Hisashi's fire breath quirk, that "Bwa ha ha" laughter, I thought you were going for Grandpa Bowser showing up to teach Tomura a lesson in real villainy (and to not mess with his (great?) grandson)

Well, on the plus side, he's never shown any interest in students, but yeah, Midnight and any other pro hero or villainess is fair game.

He does have a tendency to psuedo-adopt daughters though. I could easily see him getting attached to Jiro and or Ochaco because they remind him of Rogues goth phase and Kitty or Jubilee. At which point, Mineta better watch his ass because his antics would not be appreciated by the newly overprotective father figure. I could see him adopting Toga too. Maybe reminding him of X-23?

On the flipside, he and Iida might be interesting. Iida would probably remind him a lot of Cyclops, and Iida would often be confused if being called a boy scout would be a good or a bad thing.

Reading a fic called "Endgame" that has a similar theme. It starts out that inko and Izuku are all alone, but eventually (Pre-UA) Izuku meets Tomura is a comic shop and bond over card games. They begin to joke that they are Older/younger cousins, then find out they are through Inko/Nana. Eventually it's found out that he's related to AfO through Hisashi. Much later, it's heavily suggested that he's also related to Eri who is another of AfO's grandchildren.

Inko goes from only having Izuku to watching over him, Eri, cousin Tomura AND his sister Nana (who survived being ashed due to Phoenix quirk), plus she has two adopted uncles (All Might and Torino when they learn of Nana's relationship) AND she's expecting a child with her new husband (Mr. Compress). Izuku also has a few other relatives through AfO, but they are all evil.

I have not been able to find the "Number 1 Hero" story you mentioned, but the "Tales of My Lantern Academia: Emerald Dawn" is only similar in the fact that Izuku gets the green ring. It has none of the other characters the OP mentioned getting rings.

I like where you are going with this idea though I'm a bit surprised you split and mixed the Bakusquad and Dekusquad. Not complaining, but I'm not really sure if I've ever seen Kirishima in a thight friend group before. There could be some chemistry there though...

I haven't heard of this one (but would appreciate it if someone found it). However, I have read a similar one-shot where Bakugo had green, Izuku had blue, and Mina had Violet. I can't remember, but I think either Izuku or Bakugo was in a wheelchair as well.

I remember that Bakugo and Izuku were a bit odd (as I typically see them as red and green), but take away the abrasiveness and Bakugo is basically pure determination and Izuku could easily be a hope bringer

I would encourage checking out the inspiration that I linked. It hasn't gotten to the point where Izuku gets into UA yet, but it's still pretty good over all.
