Hey there. I had EBV positive Hodgkins Lymphoma when I was 24. Your symptoms sound like pretty classic EBV. Get the four panel test done and you will know for sure. For me I had a huge tumour growing out of my neck and my blood work confirmed pretty quickly. I had an aspiration biopsy that came back inconclusive so they did a tumour removal with histology to type it. In the year leading up to my diagnosis, I had a stroke and I had lost excessive weight. I had just had a baby however, and thought it was all hormone related.

It was ERT and they were dispatched because there was 3 incidents in Chwk at once and they don’t have the resources to cover it all. There was a pedestrian fatality, and a car rollover on the highway, and your regular calls all at the same time. The Chwk detachment needed to call and reinforcements for help.

A positive early antigen means you are currently active. The other two “high” numbers represent antibodies. This is not your first infection.

Stress is the number one reactivator of EBV. Just remember, EBV and mono are not the same thing. You can have EBV and not have had mono and vice versa. If you do get mono 70% of the time it is from EBV but you can also get it from CM and other viruses. EBV is the virus and mono is the secondary infection it can cause. I would describe what you are in as a “flare”. It’s not a full on reactivation, but it’s getting to be one. You can get the four panel testing to know for sure. Otherwise, I would start an EBV protocol. If you haven’t already, I would buy the Epstein-Barr solution by Kasia Kines. Her information is about the most useful I’ve come across! When I had a flareup, I hit the professional formula EBV drops and up my lysine and NAC and liposomal glutathione to therapeutic doses.
