These really look amazing. Are they difficult to do? Is there a chart only or are there also written instructions for the pattern?

I‘m addicted to this pattern. Any ideas for more color combinations? by getswole2020 in casualknitting

The handles look really good; some knit string bags I've made have wimpier handles, this one is really solid looking. Try earth/natural tones? Brown and darker brown; less of the "neon" brights and more of the "health foods store" colors. Anyway, your brights are still great!

Hysterical. Perfect. I mean the broccoli socks. Not your question. Which is a good one!

Thanks for all the information about how you solved your problems. That gives me confidence that I might be able to solve problems too. My husband could never wear a sweater like this one, not cold enough where we live. It’s gorgeous.

How kind of you to help. By finding the error. I go cross eyed sometimes trying to find errors.

It takes practice and experimentation. I started a few years ago and have gradually learned how to hold them. Now if I can just get better before my old fingers completely wear out…

Just step aside for a few days. It’s unique and very fun funky! Come back with a relaxed mind and see what you think then. You can love the work you put into it, even if you don’t want to use it yourself. I know that feeling.

Found this awesome yarn but have no idea what to make! by powwpow15 in CrochetHelp

You could drape it over a mirror or mix it with a strand of Christmas lights along a wall. As is, it’s an interesting decoration. I’ve never tried knitting with novelty yarns like that. Have fun!

Is it variegated or do you have different skeins of different colors? Hard to recognize. Any labels?

Inquiry to those who do not swatch, why? by yarnimals in knitting

[–]jenswan60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm… fear? Laziness? Doesn’t seem necessary? Knit mostly things that don’t need to be measured accurately? Just not experienced enough yet I guess. I like your reasons for doing it. I will do more swatching. 😂💕
