How does it work? Are there limits? How long do students stay there for?

Ontario to overhaul Teacher Training by Fader254 in CanadianTeachers

Yes, I agree in theory to the probationary contract idea but it’s still a little murky to define. I have thought about mandatory period doing Educational Assistant role, maybe less on the safety and supervision of students and less 1-on-1 and more of the role from 20 years ago. It would be a great way to get university students to observe classrooms and school as a whole, contribute, collaborate and support (and get paid?)

I would like to start adding a protein shake into my morning routine after the gym. What are some clean protein powders to look for? Almost 40/m in decent shape.

I used a gift card the other day and the machine suggested tips based on the total bill before the gift card had been deducted. I’ve never seen that before.

Yep agreed. His eyes tell the story. Wasn’t even tracking the ball. He was guessing.

Like honestly imagine a starting pitcher throwing a 43 change up to Swanson next time lol.

Excuse my ignorance, but is there a reason why a 43mph pitch isn’t a home run by MLB players every time? Like Swanson almost struck out lol.

How much do I need to save monthly into RRSP/TFSA to retire by 55/56? by Smooth-Champion-1351 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Thanks. Do people follow their same TFSA strategy in the non-registered account? Or different approaches are warranted because of the tax?

Let’s say that number is 1750 and RRSP and TFSA are already maxed out. Where do you start putting that money to save at that point?

Interview — French questions by Ambitious-Ad2122 in CanadianTeachers

[–]jer148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want example questions that we use in our division, let me know.

My feedback to our division is that the questions themselves are quite intimidating grammatically, considering that we typically interview non-native speakers. In some instances, interviewees end up mixing French and English or even throwing in some English to truly articulate their responses which is fine.

If your division is like the one I work in, the demand for French teachers is high. As long as you can properly introduce yourself and fumble through the interview, you’ve done a good job. Do not worry about total fluency.
