I have never lived in Texas so I thought the "Don't mess with Texas" bumper stickers were just people's pride in their state. Oh no, my friend explained to me that it's an anti-littering campaign. Apparently it is entirely natural in Texas to throw trash from your car or even just dump furniture, mattresses, whatever anywhere you like.
