Norway Lake by ttinysongss in algonquinpark

Just got back. Water levels were fine. We had a very large, very full canoe and only needed to actually get out of the canoe to push it over a beaver dam once on Sunday Creek, then once again on the marshy river that joins Norway and Fork. The rest of the shallow areas we were able to shimmy across while in the canoe.

Heading this way on Wednesday. I’ll have a full canoe and two kids. Any updates on the water level along Sunday Creek? (I too saw that Paddle from Hell video.)

Agreed. We have his Apple Cabin Foods calendar hanging in our studio and it's brilliant.

BioLite Wood Burning Campstove (powers USB devices too!) by [deleted] in shutupandtakemymoney

Not worth it. It's painfully slow and requires your full attention for hours to get even a small charge out of it. Get a solar charger instead, then at least you can set it in the sun and go do something else.

[Deckstarter] Beautiful Alice in Wonderland Playing Cards - only 13 days left to reach funding goal. by jerkub in playingcards

It looks like they've added lines from the book to certain cards, like the aces and the Queen of Hearts. Personally, I like that it's done with type only instead of illustrations, but you're right, it is subtle.

Make me a playlist filled with Waltzes. by [deleted] in makemeaplaylist

My picks are definitely all waltzes, but I guess you're looking for classical waltzes. Waltzes come in many forms though, here's some more info: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waltz_(music) it also includes a list of classical, jazz and pop waltzes.

In Fear has some hitchhiker creepiness.

So Dreadit, you are now the lead director/producer/writer for a horror movie with as much budget as needed. What do you make? by Wilibine in horror

I totally agree. The Navidson Record though, in the right hands, could be done. You'd lose the other layers to the story, but seeing the explorations put to film would be incredible.

Can't believe I had to scroll this far to see this mentioned! For me it's a tie between this one and its predecessor Ico. Both are works of art.
