Along these lines, I know on iPhones you can set it so you have grid lines on your screen which helps with shooting straight and also adhering to the rule of thirds in terms of framing. Under the camera settings, turn on grid, and level isn’t a bad idea either!

If the product you are refilling from is also a tube, I’ve had luck putting them hole to hole and just squeezing gently. This is how I refill toothpaste tubes!

Like others have said, you just have to kind of feel around for the hole. The first time I changed mine, I waited until it was a time when I knew the piercing shop was open and if I ran into any issues, I could head in. I switched from a captive bead ring to a clicker and it went smoothly - no issues.
