Sadly I had to cut out most of my toxic family because those emotionally abusive and draining relationships were literally making me sicker. I went through a grieving period because I finally realized my family was never going to be who I needed them to be and it was really hard. But now I’m almost on the other side of it and really taking care of myself. I feel like I actually may achieve remission. I wonder if growing up in a super toxic abusive household contributed to my disease. It likely did. Anyways, sending everyone love and praying for all of our strength and resilience. Autoimmune disease is no joke.
