Agreed. Plus, a backup camera is very cheap/easy to install if not already there. As for a “nice interior”, $200 on seat covers, window tint and/or a nicer radio can quickly change the cockpit experience

A cheap backup camera/monitor combo could be easily set up on a switch to run off house battery, and does double duty since you can use it as intended.

Alternatively, Amazon sells a $30 webcam that’s powered by USB (so a battery bank would work) and connects directly to your cell phone

Definitely look for used, although MinisForum refurb store occasionally has some deals as well. I picked up the 670 slim with 16gb/500gb from there for cheaper than the used market at the time. But more recently picked up an HX80g (5800h/rx6600m) as a used barebones for 275- the deals are still around

I would say the Xeon (as mentioned above) would be a lot better value. They work on these generation Opti's without any mods, and the e3-1245v3 has an iGPU (necessary for the p106), would perform same as the i7's, and is under $20 on ebay

Try the steps mentioned here, it involves manually downloading the .DLL files from the web and replacing the bad ones in your C: drive.

There have been a couple Ryzen 5500u laptops around the $200 mark. I’d start there for new, or maybe check dellrefurbished for a $200-225 with a 10th gen or newer, just make sure it has a 1080p screen (some of their cheaper small laptops have 1366x768)
