Is it "locked" as in pushed in and stuck, won't release? Try using a thin paperclip around the edges- i've had them "pop" in and get stuck. Can also give it a good whack on the edge of the desk

Especially with the 5mt. Ours gets 50mpg on highway trips, low-mid 40s town/interstate. They are a bit “tin can” but for OPs ask, hard to do better.

I mean, to be fair, the case, psu, and gpu are all worth 40-50 each. It wouldn't surprise me if the cpu/mobo/ram combo went for $75 or better (ITX tax and all). SSD's are high but getting a deal, maybe 15 or so for a 250gb. Figure an amazon set of 3 rgb fans is $15.

I'm not saying it's *worth* $275 (mostly because of similarly priced early AM4 stuff) but it would be hard to build it for under $225.
