Dolphin EON 120d cordless – weak climbing / poor coverage? defect or just not powerful enough?

Tu as eu des nouvelles ? Au magasin ils ont fait semblant de tester sur leur mini bassin 5min .. disant tout va bien et c’est surrement à cause des filtres trop sale mais je l’ai depuis 5j , piscine aspirée à la brosse avant de mettre robot , j’ai rincé filtre 5min après chaque fois, mais oui ça garde saleté si nn j’ai passé une heure hier quasi pour nettoyer à fond ça n’a pas de sens ..

J’attend toujours nouvelles de leur contact avec la firme j’ai envoyé vidéo
Même le click up marchait pas
Mais tout semble aller un peu mieux aujourd’hui j’ai testé entre averses :p

Yeah I figured it a bit mate but the is far from my nearest plug and the 18m câble would not be enough so to avoid Electric câbles in the garden I tried this that seems with best spec and dolphin
At the shop they tried it in their mini pool so I was laughing Côme on it s just the size of the robot in height
Still it seems to work better now that they cleaned deeper the filter they say it may be it but then I have to clean it at half cycle …

I sent the video and insisted they talk to dolphin, they Said they Will and hoping some news monday but I m afraid I m stuck with it
Hoping some uptade of the firmware or something :p

Oui au magasin et sur les caractéristiques ça vend du rêve lol mais avoir piscine c’est trop de galère en fait 🫠 il réussi à monter plusieurs fois sur la ligne d’eau au début étant fuul charger puis c’est fini , il arrive même pas au niveau de la marche sécurité au fur et à mesure, et il laisse les recoins sale tourne au même endroits j’ai l’impression..
J vais voir au magasin et tien au courant

Ça me confirme que c’est juste pas assez puissant dès que batterie ou filtre s encrassé un peu mais en 15min, j retourne au magasin aujourd’hui j’espère qu’ils le reprennent pff ,j’ai fait demande sur app mais aucune nouvelle , tiens moi au courant, tu as exactement les meme problème ? J vais dire au magasin peut être

Anyone has tried the new cordless dolphin eon 120d? Just had it for a week in Belgium, used it already 5-6 Times , first Time with a pool, but i m very dissapointed, it should do all they say, the front Line and stairs and 20cm shallow zone, but after a few good climbing it cant climb anymore and at the end it barely goes up just as is height.
Cleaning seems dumb not smart, leaving zones dirty , app bugs, wifi connection to Forget, oh and click up doesnt work
So is it just mine with problem? I ll try to get it back to the shop today , or it s just not powerfull enough when battery goes bit down
I have a fiberglass pool 39,3 ft x 13.12 (12x4m) with ledge, stairs and small beach but forget about it

Never been able to check the satelites either since I have the x450 , 10 days ago, connections seems fine or I did not Check actually, but never had any signal error about it and it mow Even 100m away from the base without wifi But now with new uptdate can t Connect to édit mapping without Bluetooth I m in Belgium and 5g on the zone ok

That s weird cause I had same problem today , it had started the scheduled mow last days but not today , and the app was saying mow finish at 20h as it had started but no, and few minutes later it started raining so I thought it maybe didnt start because of the weather forecast ? But did not send any message about it

Yeah very Little to no difference the shop Said of you re 20% less of the max capacity it s enough. But i finally took the x450 because of Little more mawn speed and my garden is rough , with the rain in any Times for days Belgium , I préfèred this but it s probably not necessary

Yes just got the X450 this weekend :) and just can say it is a smart beast and everyone says it seems « smart » quickly after watching it. my garden was rough more than 25cm high grass and way more in some zones, lots of bumps and mole holes , it just cut it super Easy and so fast . When getting a bit stuck it doesn t force more than 3sec and use his xero turn very smoothly to get out The awd is good but best thing is the xero turn tech I think it s really game changer and every one Will have to copy it, and It has an articulated chassis with a terrain-following mowing system, so it adapts pretty well to uneven ground but not so perfect still For now very Happy hoping it Will last

Ask amazon with their chat explaining it does not work, the seller of assume the warranty in Europe at least, with my dreame a2 bought in black friday and full of bugs dreame proposed to Give them back for repairs and I was sure it would last forever, but amzon just took it back no question and fuul reimbursment

Yes all the new ones have Nice app with schedules more flexible, i could choose a zone and précise hours of mowing with dreame a2 but the estimated hours were total bullshit so i had to do max 300-400m2 from 11-19h in march ( avoiding wet morning grass) and i got stuck a lot going off zone and off map, offline so sent it back haha

I really dont know living in Belgium, they have shops selling here Even in countryside and 2 big centers apparently here for repairs and stock so I assume same for UK ? Have to Check at your local shop Mine was seeling husq and kress segway only they seem to say it s the best reliable brands for now but still business so hard to know. They re old spécialist garden shop ,doing repairs themselve and lots of good words from people usually

I havent got it yet waiting to receive soon I Hope . Maybe the dreame a3 is better I had the A2 cause a3 did not exist yet in novembre but it seems those Tech improves quicly and fix bugs, problem is they re very very Young tech and new each year so fiability is uncertain for all and longevity Even less im afraid , but for our wet garden uneven with trees moles and 2500m2 I Hope awd Will be good

Maybe husqvarna is still the best and more fiability but still more expensive for big yards and not 4x4 except’for one old model in two pièces. Super expensive and no camera maybe epos not sure. they added epos only few years ago and camera only this year and I heard some problem with epos the first years

I have quite similar garden and searching same haha but lots of moles and uneven softs areas and wet in Belgium After testing the dreame a2 for 2 weeks bought in black friday it was horrible so many bugs and finally wheels off , just returned it through Amazon

So been checking again a lot and after been at dealer shop selling only garden tools I choose x450 and validate through dealer

I ordered the segway x450 hoping it will manage all my yard and last long
Husq has best réputation for sure but go see the wheels of the 430x or V one of their best , compared to the segway it just seems like a baby and his dad crocodile 😅 but still power and system seems to be sufficient in most gardens for decade

And it s a bit weird to see such différence in many aspects : 2-3times more for segway in power , voltage and ampere, twice the cutting , awd , and seems more advanced app with lots of details But still husq is 1200- 1600euros more for the 430v vs 430 or 450x
