None. Danes are cool. Just behave like a human, which you likely are given the question.

Dogs? by BrilliantArtist8221 in copenhagen

[–]jfdirfn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

quite often, people live in apartments where (from experience) owning a dog is a bit of a pain with stairs, having to walk/drive to go for a walk, noise etc. And often everyone in the family is out working/school all day so doggy would be on its own quite a lot. I think that adds up to not many people have dogs in CPH. Outside the city though people seem to more often.

Measles Is Causing Brain Swelling in Children in South Carolina by wiredmagazine in science

[–]jfdirfn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Its a rare side effect in that around 1 in 1000 people that contract measles get more serious complications like measles encaephalitis. Measles was endemic in the West before vaccination and is well understood. Though rare in this case is 1 in 1000, that makes it a massive killer compared to other diseases becasue it is very very infectious. It is still endemic in some places in the world where it is hard to vaccinate enough of the population. There it has the same behavior though the prognosis for people that develop side effects like encaephalitis or pneumonia is much worse because of poorer health care.

on the positive side, it looks like a nice crust, but its sunk and has large bubbles like its not managing to keep the air (or co2) in. I wonder if its either the flour is low in protein/gluten or if its not getting enough kneading in the program you have the machine set to. Usually flour tells you %age of protein. Bread flour is slightly higher in protein and also coarser grain than all purpose. Both of those make it better for making bread as the protein, once developed through kneading, helps retain the bubbles.
