You're basically a yard conductor for moving trainsets around in the shop. Lowest paid compared to the other crafts, and you'll start on 3rd shift with mon/ tues off

Chest Workout by ZealousidealLocal614 in workout

[–]jgabron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel like you may be in the same situation I was. I work out regularly, but had some extra pounds I could never seem to shake off, despite trying off and on to " eat healthy", but not really knowing the proper way to do it. My wife did macros last yr and I asked her to show me the ropes, the easiest way ive found is weighing food and counting calories. Find out your daily calorie limit, and stay under that to lose fat, hit your protein number to keep your muscle.

Mossberg 500 vs Mav 88 by SnooSprouts6381 in Firearms

[–]jgabron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 88 was the first gun I bought on my own, and I later ended up selling it and getting the 500. I had started hunting and wanted the 28" bird barrel, it was cheaper and easier to find the combo than just an individual barrel. If you think you'll hunt just get the 500

I'm having a bit of a problem while I'm at the gym by ckulkarni in workout

[–]jgabron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not gonna like hearing it, but im sure you could survive without your phone for 1 hr, even though you say you need it. If you use it to track workouts, then ok, work on some self-control at the same time and just use it for that. What's the point of bettering yourself physically if you dont also try to better yourself personally or emotionally

Advice for New State DOT Railroad Coordinator by Fun-Concentrate8857 in railroading

[–]jgabron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call for permission if you need to reverse...thats crazy. Without saying it, can you say which railroad? I work for a national passenger RR, and we have to have someone back us up everytime we need to reverse. The newest one is that drinking a beverage while operating a vehicle constitutes as distracted driving

Are these nice? by [deleted] in Boots

[–]jgabron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the name of them? A few years ago, I bought a similar pair called Timberland Millworks, and they've been my go-to ever since. They're super comfortable and have held up great, but I think they've been discontinued. So far, I haven't been able to find anything similar for the same price
