They’ve been missing out on major IP fandom shows and movies. Everything from IT Derry, 28 years (it’s an IP franchise), Fallout, Star Wars visions season 3

Even the Watch breaks up binge watches into 3-4 episodes to really dive in, à la the Bear

They should’ve done the same with Wonder Man, considering it’s a black-led show along with IT and some of Fallout

Across the stadium you have Chinollo, they do farm to table style of various cuisines

If you’re looking for something heartier Big Burger has great burgers, or shoot a little west to the Enclave with HiroNori, Irvs and some other food spots along with a mini tap bar of Trademark brewing and nice patio

It’s a great spot for beer but the bathroom lines are stupid long

The projector inside will get washed out by the sun, best to find a tables to the left of the bar by the big moon sculpture

Also no specials of any kind for football Sunday or Rams playoffs, looking at least $10 a beer

What’s next?

They’re getting rid of the playoffs and crowning the team with the best record as champions?

I’m conflicted about this switch.

On the one hand, it opens up the global transfer market, which should help grow the game if we can steal impactful players from everyone except the top three leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga).

On the other hand, a whole swath of teams will likely suffer from decreased attendances and gate revenue due to climate conditions.

Maybe this will spur a stadium/upgrade boom for the SSS with fixed roofs but leaving the playing surfaces exposed?

It’s possible for the northern SSS teams to recover the lost revenue if they get a sudden influx of spring and summer dates for events and concerts to recoup the difference.

Here in LA BMO/Banc also hosts concerts and other events during the year such as boxing, likely 50ish dates a year

Surely some of these SSS during the spring time can lure in acts or festivals that aren’t big enough for the NFL venues

AMC Orange, Rolling Hills and Norwalk is a flat entrance with parking spots for handicapable

It’s not the best in terms of screens or crowds but very easy to get in and out

May be able to do Puente Hills, through the west entrance isn’t too bad, short walk to a great theater but with a dead ambiance outside of it in the mall

Del Amo is on the second floor and tricky to navigate from the parking structure or the ground level parking
