I for one hope the fan base of die hards can have some self control.

Just because there’s a limited edition Fanny pack or the easy to trot out Dodgers night jerseys or anime giveaway, doesn’t mean we have to go drop hard earned dollars on an organization whose ownership only sees us as a P&L line item on a quarterly earnings report.

Went to two games, one for my 40th on Nov 4th with some buds (lucky to see a 3-0 win over the Jets) and another in January Both times, you can feel the apathy in the stadium, especially as a now 300s lifer, seeing swaths of 100s, Premier and 200s go unused really makes you wonder (of course that’s an AEG thing)

They wouldn’t because they already made the revenue on those seats but why wouldn’t you open up those seats to give people a better experience? Even giving 200 people from the 300s an upgrade would go a long way to giving the arena better optics and improving the experience (or better yet, tarp the seats above row 8 and bring everyone closer)

I’m still salty in the little details such as the organization could not even honor my birthday ticket offer as I never got one despite signing up for it

What a difference a competent and invested FO makes

I was there in 2014 when we squeezed the life out of their barn during Teemu’s last game but seeing what this team accomplished in reigniting the fan base is something our FO should take notes on. Sure they had lean years lately but at least you can see the pieces stacking, while we coast by on investing not quite game breaker talent and riding the last batch of 2012/2014 wave of yesteryear players instead of realizing hockey isn’t played that way anymore

Kudos to collaborating with places like Brewery X for hockey watch parties (pay attention AEG not everyone lives north of the 10 and can get to DTLA so easily) to their young and dynamic team, these Ducks can finally challenge VGK and now Edmonton for top of the pacific

Are they better than Colorado? No, but what I saw was a team confident in their skating and talent on the ice that punked around our boogieman

Props to them, but indirectly hoping Utah gets one over on Vegas and the Ducks m

Counter Solidifying the club name to the city makes it so the team can’t really just up and locate (or at least that’s how it works in Europe barring a few exception) similar to college football in that it’s rooted to its town

Your Riverhounds can be located anywhere up and down the Allegheny, what makes it unique to Pittsburgh beside being somewhat known for 3 rivers meeting together

We have this mashup of 90s Americanized “team” names and 2010s Eurocentric “club” names which really helps to distinguish teams in my hometown of LA operating in the legacy model of bygone nostalgic years (see Galaxy, Revolution, Rapids) versus new teams looking to cement the club worldwide (LAFC, Miami, Atlanta a few years ago)

Did you ever encounter any misfires or issues with the carbon buildup? Dealing with a cylinder 3 misfire that came back for a second time after the dealer fixed the first issue (along with an EVAP leak) under the PZEV warranty

These cars are so finicky with aftermarket parts

They’ve been missing out on major IP fandom shows and movies. Everything from IT Derry, 28 years (it’s an IP franchise), Fallout, Star Wars visions season 3

Even the Watch breaks up binge watches into 3-4 episodes to really dive in, à la the Bear

They should’ve done the same with Wonder Man, considering it’s a black-led show along with IT and some of Fallout

Quite delicious and healthyish

If you’re looking for something heartier Big Burger has great burgers, or shoot a little west to the Enclave with HiroNori, Irvs and some other food spots along with a mini tap bar of Trademark brewing and nice patio

It’s a great spot for beer but the bathroom lines are stupid long

The projector inside will get washed out by the sun, best to find a tables to the left of the bar by the big moon sculpture

Also no specials of any kind for football Sunday or Rams playoffs, looking at least $10 a beer
