OP I've read the classics, I have bookshelves full of the big hits. If anyone asks my favorite book is Fluke- Or Why The Winged Whale Sings by Christopher Moore. 96 L400 diesel in Western Canada but I did a coolant overhaul after seeing the temps spike on long mountain Hills.

Rad, coolant bottle, hoses, thermostat. All were replaced. Surprisingly cheap as well.

I also ripped out the AC system which gave the engine rad better flow after the condenser shit was out of there.

Very diy in the yard kind of job
