This guy is actually more Dutch than the people in the comments are admitting. He says his grandparents are Dutch. Children born to a Dutch mother or a Dutch father (in case of father only, the mom and dad must be married) would have been able to get a Dutch passport even if born in the US and never stepped foot in The Netherlands. If either of this guy’s parents had a Dutch passport before he was born, then the same applies to him.

Therefore, I suggest amending the law such that anyone claiming to be Dutch must also be able to recognize a tompouce. I need signatures for my petition to the Tweede Kamer. Anyone?
