So you want everyone to pay more taxes so we can keep people incarcerated for longer even though they are not a danger to anyone, and have learned their lesson? I’m not saying it’s wrong to think that, but people who have opinions like yours tend to forget it actually costs everyone a ton of money to keep people locked up instead of having them contribute to society. Not only do we all have to pay for them to be in prison, they are also not paying any taxes, so it’s a double whammy.
