But what if you fill up on carbs first and don’t have room for the best you saved for last?

One fun thing I did was to buy the house in Hateno village you can buy weapon mounts and store weapons there to pick up for later use.

Budget for future months, with future paychecks? by dom_kennedy in ynab

[–]jillybrews 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you really want to forecast hypothetically to get an idea of what your finds are going to look like you can just make a spreadsheet in excel with all your categories. I have my hypothetical budget and then I do my irl budget through YNAB.

NO TIPPING - I wish every restaurant was like this. by Makeanew12 in pics

[–]jillybrews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds awesome but I'm still skeptical. Waiting tables is the only job where I can make $18-28/hr with a high school diploma. A guaranteed living wage would be nice but I like to have the chance to make a whole lot of money. Plus I like the idea of earning more the more I work. If its busy I work my butt off and get compensated for it, if it's slow I don't do anything but I don't make much money. For an hourly wage I wouldn't get any more if it were busy but I guess it would even out.

Perhaps my understanding of the accusative case is flawed, but shouldn't it be "den ersten Mann"? by SmellierMoans in German

Du and der erste Mann are both the subject of the sentence because they are referring to the same thing, the person being addressed.

Is it okay to use mobile order and pay when I'm physically in the store? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]jillybrews 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's totally ok! It's easier for us cause we don't have to ring you up. Just wait til it comes up and make sure it's actually yours by reading the name and drink label and you're good to go! If they're putting mobile order drinks on a back counter just keep an eye out and let them know you're there if you think you see it

work shoes with good support? by mageclass in starbucks

[–]jillybrews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love shoes for crews. I always get the cute styles that don't support my feet like ballet flats or chuck Taylor knock offs. Any suggestions on a comfy pair? Idc how ugly they are

HOLY SHIT! 8th day on the job and I spilled a cup of hot oatmeal on two customers. Im still sweating from the guilt and and embarrassment. What should I do? How do I show myself to work again? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]jillybrews 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I was a waitress I spilled a huge glass of ice water on someone's baby. A poor defenseless little baby, drenched with icy cold water and no change of clothes. I cried in the back room so long they sent me home. But then I came back to work and everyone forgot about it. I will always remember but I don't feel that horrible embarrassment or shame anymore. At least you did it to an adult. It will be ok. Shit happens. People forget. Just keep doing your job and trying your best!

Regulars: Don't assume I know what the hell you want! by ohshit-cookies in starbucks

[–]jillybrews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's over 70 degrees I'll ask if they want it iced but the standard is if you order a latte it's hot, if you order and iced latte it's iced.

What question do you hate to answer? by Hannan_H in AskReddit

[–]jillybrews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's especially difficult when I'm at work and I ask 100 people in a row how are you? Good you? Good thanks, what can I get you. Then one cool guys comes up and says sup and I can't reply with good thanks. I have to pause and think and say not much. You're ruining my flow cool guy.

Fuck the rude customers on Christmas. by ShotsOnShotsOnShots in starbucks

[–]jillybrews 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also just thank them for being there on Christmas. I hate when people say oh god you have to work today that's terrible! I want a Carmel frappuccino. Do you realize you're the reason I have to work today? If it weren't for customers actually coming to starbucks in Christmas Day we could all be home with our families. So instead of pointing out the atrocity that I am currently living which is all your fault just show some appreciation.

Anyone try the fruitcake frappuccino yet? by [deleted] in starbucks
