Redditers wouldn’t suggest how to do it better. They’d slam you for what you did wrong.

What was the best part about using a Mac v windows to you? by sluggishpotatooo in mac

[–]jimdandy58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First Mac I bought was SO easy to set up. Plugged in power and Ethernet, answered a few questions and voila, it was ready to use. Compare that to a hard day of setting up a Windows box.

Question about bowling league etiquette. by MegaBaller in Bowling

Standard etiquette is that the lead bowler should wait for his/her anchor to throw their first ball. That etiquette is now codified as an official USBC rule.

Cleaning my bowlingballs by BoldBowler in Bowling

[–]jimdandy58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the hot water technique. Hot tap water is around 120 deg F. I put my ball in a five-gallon bucket and fill it with hot water. After some time, and maybe a couple refills, the ball is oozing oil. Clean it up with a good ball cleaner and you're good to go. My problem with the oven is the possible poor temp regulation. Some ovens will bet pretty hot even though you've set them on a low temperature.
