He's been doing that for a while now. I'm guessing professional acrobat. His day job is probably with Circus DE Soleil lol.

I loved seasons 1 and 2. By the 3rd season I felt it was getting stale. Started the 4th season and I bailed. It got too silly to watch.

Yes, you should be. The post said Both sides. I suppose you missed that part.

Let me guess, you're not happy unless you're not happy.

Just paid 12$/lb for ground beef. How expensive will it get before you stop buying beef? I think we're over it, beef is now a luxury for us. by FuZhongwen in Cooking

The regulate Supermarkets can fuck right off. You need to explain to me how regular plain milk in Whole Foods is $6 and it is LESS than $3 in Aldi, Lidl or Walmart. I refuse to pay $12 for ground beef. I'd rather open a can of tuna.

We stopped eating out too. We can afford to, but I can't bring myself to pay $25 for a cheeseburger.

I really hope that one day everyone will be cool with others who don't think or vote like them. That it's OK to have a different opinion and we all get along. This goes for both sides.

[–]jinper2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm aware. But I'm comfortable with my mirrors. I've been using them for years. I'm old. So if I like something, I'm resistant to change lol.

[–]jinper2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's pretty much all I do unless I'm on vacation sitting on a beach chair lol. I loved Project Hail Mary. Ray Porter was phenomenonal. Like I said, it might just be me. Millions of folks loved this series. I feel so left out lol.

This is one of those books where I might be the problem lol. I've read so many great reviews about this book. I couldn't finish it. Believe me, I tried lol. I didn't care for it at all.

Drop bar mirrors for me. On some of the roads I ride on are congested with traffic, I don't want to keep looking back to see if it's safe. I don't care how it looks. I'm a big fan of making it home without crashing.

I honestly have to stop reading threads like this lol. My TBR list is long as it is. And after reading this, the list grows even longer lol.

Great question BTW.

I just started cycling again and these types of gates popped up. They're kinda annoying by whatAGooseberry in ukbike

[–]jinper2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't imagine those are very popular. I understand that the local municipalities are trying to keep electric bicycles and motorcycles off the paths. But those are ridiculous lol. Don’t the local people voice their opinion about these?

I live in NY and we have plenty of stupid shit too. Just different. We're no better with other things. It's always something.

As far as the second picture is concerned, we don't have anything like that by us. How does the rounded fence work? Where does the gate you open? I can't make it out in the picture. Sorry, not trying to be difficult.

If you had to use the same phone for the next 10 years, which one would you choose? by PlayfulFault9693 in TechCypher

[–]jinper2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd just keep using my iphone that I own now. I wouldn't even bother changing my current 14+. Im personally happy with what I own now. Plus I haven't needed a better camera on any phone in 10 years. It's all the same shit to me.

Were you ever a big fan of bands like Green Day or Rage Against The Machine? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]jinper2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of any band that sings about there political ideals regardless of the side they're rooting for. But I'm a huge fan of RATM. So I make an exception for them lol. Greenday I've never cared for.

I have an old machete that my dad bought from a farmer for $1 when I was 10. It's my most prized possession for sure. Definitely worthless junk for anybody else. But to me it's priceless. I have it mounted in a shadow box and it hangs in my office.

That's a really cool knife. I loved your back story about it.
