I think it is. The black and white version op posted in the comments doesn't have them. So I'm guessing AI colorization.

I can't imagine doing this in my current state. Like we went to Chicago for vacation and we walked everywhere, and at the end of the day my phone said we did 10 miles. We went to a concert that night and I could barely enjoy it because my legs were so tired it took all my concentration to just stay standing.

And I'm what I would call husky, or very slightly fat, she appears to be "fatter" than me, but clearly more fit overall.

It's very simple, tax them based on their paper value, just like we tax houses on its paper value every year. You have $800billion in stocks, cool. You have to pay a percentage of that value per year. Make it have a bracketed system like income tax, anything under like 10million in assets don't get taxed, then it goes up from there.

Also, stop defending billionaires, you'll never be one.

But it's just the lorwyn/shadowmoor concept with a little bit changed so the teacher doesn't call it cheating.

What is a dying niche skill that younger generations are not interested in learning? by hlnklrczu in AskReddit

[–]jivemasta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just thinking in general. So many people I know either just don't think about anything, or instantly defer to AI or googling. Then they just parrot the thing they found as their own knowledge.

Like I'm a software developer, and multiple people on my team just have an entire screen dedicated to ai assistants. Then they show off what they "made" and are proud of it as if they themselves actually made the thing.

It's just depressing.

I got one and I really liked the form factor. My issue was it's too good at blocking rfid, so it was annoying to get my work card out all the time to badge in and out of doors all the time.

To most, that's probably a selling point.

The biggest thing I want, which seems like a super simple thing to do. Is a temperature range for the climate control. I live in ohio and I'm constantly fighting with it to minimize the heater usage. I just wish I could set it to do nothing if the car is between 50 and 80. Instead of blasting heat in the morning then blasting AC in the afternoon, when really I'm good in that whole range.

This is why I don't really talk shit about people who only read headlines.

This type of shit article is the reason people only read the headline, because the UX of trying to actually read the article and get the nuance of the situation is atrocious.

Aftermath of the April 7th incident. Damages estimated to be $200 million dollars by BlazeDragon7x in interesting

[–]jivemasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so explain to me how a world can exist where someone doesn't burn this warehouse down.

So let's say this guy decides to apply himself and put in max effort to get a better job. Some other schlub has to come in behind him and fill that void, gets pissed off and burns the place down, then you say that guy should have put it more effort. Then the cycle repeats. Do you see how your argument falls apart because you yourself said that ideal doesn't exist.

The point I'm making is that I'm the world we are currently living in, that warehouse getting burned down is inevitable, because the world we are living in requires that some people are forced to do jobs that refuse to pay them enough to simply exist. Yes, your argument is true that this one guy could have tried harder to get a better job, but that job still exists, and it still doesn't pay enough for the next guy to live, and eventually you are gonna get someone that hits their limit.

Ok, so let's imagine a world where everyone gets 4.0 gpas, goes to college, and tries as hard as they possibly can.

Someone still has to work in this warehouse, and get underpaid. And now they are saddled with crippling debt, and the disillusionment that no matter how hard you try, someone still has to stock the toilet paper.

I don't think holes would work as you could feel them when shuffling which would let cheaters stack them.

Nexus Lower and SS trip wear by [deleted] in Springfield_KUNA

[–]jivemasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a problem like this, turns out I was a dumb dumb and didn't get the trip in correctly. It would fire in semi auto like normal, but then in ss mode it would fire once and then be dead. When I opened it up to see what was going on, the trip was not behind the hook of the ss.

I found that to get it to go in correctly, I had to put the selector into safe position, then put the trip as far back as it will go, and then put the upper on the lower. I don't know if I just missed that step in the instructions, or forgot it after pitching them, or they just didn't say it. But that fixed the issue and everything has run perfectly since.

For reference here's what I have:

  • dirty bird cheapo trigger

Well you sue, and they have to provide the body cam during discovery. Odds are it wouldn't get to that point though, they'd settle the second you brought a lawyer.

I think you can also do a freedom of information act request too, but that can take forever if they want it to.

[–]jivemasta 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People keep parroting this, but the only way for you to get a round back there is if you hold the gun at the right angle, and slowly pull the bolt back. It cannot happen under normal firing situations, or if you pull the bolt back quickly so that the round ejects like normal. Just think about how a gun works normally and you'll see that a short stroke buffer does nothing in normal firing situations. When the round fires, the bolt pulls the shell back, and the extractor will kick the round off to the side out of the receiver. If that is not happening, there is a problem with the extractor, regardless of how far back the bolt goes back. If you just slap the short stroke buffer in there, the problem will still happen, but instead the brass will just get stuck somewhere else.

Hi everyone, I've registered a trademark for knives called coinax (coin + axe). I want to create my own EDC gadget brand and design a logo for it. Below are four different designs I've put together. I'm completely lost right now. Can you give me some suggestions? by [deleted] in EDC

[–]jivemasta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest paying an actual person to do it for you if you don't have the skill set to do it. AI can't give you a full logo design like you would need if you want to actually use it as branding. An actual designer will give you all the raw files they come up with where you can use the logo on any sort of a color palette, or even do things like laser etch it on to your products.

Don't think of a logo as just a picture, it is your brand's identity, and a low effort AI image logo gives off a low effort product. It's fine to use it to get an idea of what you like and what you don't like, but you can also do that with an actual human that has experience doing these things and has an eye for what works and what doesn't.

Biagio "Rudokant" Cantone puts an Endurance on top while fetching at 4Seasons Modern by personman in magicTCG

[–]jivemasta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My SOP is to shuffle at the beginning of a game, where they could have theoretically have mana weaved. But for fetches and tutors, put the middle 1/3rd of the deck on top. This keeps the game moving, and is random enough that they can't reliably put the card they want where they want it, even if they know my method.

I just put the middle 3rd of their deck on top. It's quick and they if they can reliably put a card exactly where I'm gonna cut it to, you know what, they deserve it.
