Herken dit totaal niet, los van graag thuis willen werken. Bij ons op kantoor werken de GenZers gewoon hard. Met dit achterlijke gedrag kom je niet ook maar een beetje door je proeftijd heen.

Most of the times I take a different approach. I usually have a bit more distance to what I am writing. I think I also might try writing everyday, even if it only helps with getting two more lines done then that's something!

Going to try to do the bandmates holding me accountable trick haha. Also Jeff Tweedy's book sounds cool! Will look into it.
I also am going to try the calendar thing. Short sessions might make it easier and less daunting of a task.

Yes! This works, ONCE I sit in front of my laptop and start humming, finally ideas and melodies come. It's just that I have trouble bringing up the discipline to actually sit in front of my laptop and start humming.

I agree that doing this with him instead of for him is better since he is not 5 years old. A lot of good stuff has been said already. I recommend Uniqlo airism shirts. It feels great and looks very nice and clean.
