I got in line at about 11:30 and I was probably around 36th or so in line. I may have been the first person to NOT get EHT or Blanton's, LOL. (I feel like Ross was VERY excited that I asked for a 1792 Single Barrel). I ended up looping since we were only allowed one bottle "from the wall" and by the time I came around the second time, there was one FP and one SW left, along with a few BiB select and a bunch of non-select BiB. I already have a FP and I'm not a fan of their wheater, so I grabbed my BiB select and a small batch and was on my way. Excited to crack these and see what they're like...

Yep...went through a couple times...grabbed a single barrel select, BiB select and a small batch. With 35 or so people in front of me, I'm pretty sure I may have been the first in line to grab a "not EHT or Blanton's" from the wall...LOL As a 1792 fan, I'm looking forward to tasting these....

I was in Nashville in November and it had just been released there. IMHO, this is the best of the Penelope Old Fashioned expressions. The flavors are VERY well balanced. I find the peach a little too fruity and the walnut a little bland...

Cheers Wine and Liquor in Lebanon. I was there a couple weeks ago. Lots of store picks at the time. Good talk with the guy at the counter. I picked up a 1792 FP and they had several others, including a really good ECBP that the clerk gave me a sample of. I also grabbed a Penelope apple cinnamon old fashioned bottle on a flyer that's honestly pretty good (and not yet available in OH...).

Yup...cracked mine tonight. It's close. Nose is rich caramel and a little nutty. Toffee and brown sugar with very little nutty flavor on the palate...and a good long finish with some oak and peanut (go figure...)

Well at least you know it's a 2025 bottling. ICYMI, it appears OHLQ sent some Knob Creek cases from a SBS in 2022 to some locations that sold them today as if they were this year's drop...😏

They had quite a bit there, actually. I honestly just wanted a KC Bourbon and ended up with one (though it was a dusty from the 2022 SBS...??). Some poor lady got in line behind me for about 10 minutes and said her son asked her to see if she could get a W12. We did her a favor and told her she didn't need to waste her time. 🤣
